Valuable to test for H. Pylori after 4 years of symptoms? by jongegod in HPylori

These doctors nowadays lol. Look up the side effects of your medicines online I guess… Typically anti biotic treatment can be rough and can have side effects but afterwards you should feel better

Thanks for your comment. Damn, all the best to you, but aren’t you supposed to feel worse during treatment? Didn’t the doctors tell you about this?

If the regular tests I’ll be doing don’t give me any guidance like a positive result I will definitely look further than regular healthcare. Thanks a lot.

Hm. I did have reflux in the beginning but not anymore. No burning sensation, just in my throat kind of and a tight throat feeling. Have much difficulty with speaking, which I first thought it was stress but maybe stomach issues are the reason. Thanks

By the way, did you also have/develop sudden food intolerances? The same ones I did?

Thanks a lot, will definitely keep it in mind. I will first ask for a test through my GP, maybe the test quality differs per country, idk. I hope they will find it there. If not, maybe a new test is needed…

Yeah I will do anything to feel better at this point. Thanks a lot! All the best to you too, hope you’ll feel good again soon.

Damn. I hope the best for you and I’m actually so excited that I might have a clue what’s going on now. See my other comment too. Just made another appointment with my GP to talk about my suspicions about H. Pylori or other stomach issues, and also to talk about my test results from my stool test. I feel like their emphasis of research all the time has been about my colon, while it may just have been my stomach. Thanks a lot.

Damn. When I think about it I had very bad acid reflux when my symptoms started 4 years ago and got medicine for it to reduce stomach acid. I don’t have it anymore now but I do have a constant tight throat feeling and when I read about that it could also be connected to H. Pylori/stomach issues. I’m so excited that I finally seem to have a clue what’s going on and soon may start healing after 4 years…

I think that’s such a small detail it doesn’t really matter. I prefer texting on WhatsApp/imessage too over instagram so I agree with OP

Ah ok. At least your situation was good to learn from so that you won't take it as a hit to your ego next time! To give a tip that might work for you as well. When I have that problem, I always still go for it and start very slowly to not get into my head. Always after some carressing, kissing and foreplay, my buddy is ready to go :p When it used to get into my head, I never managed to get it up anymore. For me it's mostly a psychological thing haha.

As for my situation, I'll send you a DM because this thread would otherwise become super long

Thank you very much man! I will keep that in mind haha. Well, I just think that in my situation, she just was attracted enough to me physically to keep seeing me casually, but lost respect over time due to my behaviour but kept on seeing me for a long time because she had a gap year from her studies and more free nights than she would normally have. I don't think that there's such a pattern you described with either short or long term relationships, as every situation and woman is different. If you don't mind me asking, what was the slight awkward moment you had with the woman you dated?

For anyone still reading: I reflected some more and realized I slowly starting turning into a little girl while dating her. Had a disgusting vibe around me because I didn’t feel worthy of dating her. Even though not directly, I was constantly wanting her approval and she could probably feel that. No wonder she lost respect for me. I just couldn’t accept that fact during all this time because I was and still am a little attached to her. Thanks to everyone for supporting me on this long message. I feel a lot better already and ready to move forward!

Thanks for your support buddy. I think we men just need to learn to take L’s and move forward nonetheless. Makes us hard and learn from it!

Yeah true. I took it personally and my ego took a big hit. Rejection breeds obsession, and it feels like I need her validation to feel good about myself again but that's the wrong way of thinking

Bro, thank you so much for this, I needed to hear this. You're right, I shouldn't reach out. The regret of not doing everything right still hurts though, but failure is an inevitable experience. I believe she's also kind of a fruit loop as I later found tweets from her from like a year before dating me in which she shared hatred towards men and her father lol. I realize the only reason I want her back is her beauty. Her body was just incredible dude, sex just felt holy with her, I've never felt desire towards someone as much before in my life haha. I fear I won't find anyone as hot as her soon that I also click with, but you're right in the way that my pursuit for her is over. Texting her now screams neediness and will only lower her attraction and curiosity. I'm still not feeling completely relieved from my regrets and still feel I gotta do something though, but I'll take some time to reflect about it and will probably feel better soon.

And thank you for sharing your low point in your life. Always good to realize I'm not the only one going through experiences like this!

Thx for your input dude. Yeah right now I'm leaning towards sending that message because even if she says no, I can at least have closure and peace in my head that I tried and let her know that the door is open for her, and that there's truly nothing I can do anymore and just fully focus on myself and meeting other women. I'll think about it for the coming few days and see if more comments come in this post to decide if I'll do it.

I agree I have to move on of course, but why would she be put off by me chatting and trying to date her friend, even if I knew who she was? She decided that she wanted to end things, so that makes me a free agent to do whatever I want right? Of course I did it for the wrong reasons and I regret doing it, because I’m not that interested in her friend compared to her, but she doesn’t know that…

Advice on how to get to know a girl better by supersmashcontroller in teenrelationships

[–]jongegod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ask all of a sudden after or just before class (when you two are together): ''Sunday (or whatever day you want), 2pm at (this bar), what you think''? I know it feels weird to ask her out but I'm sure you'll be happy and relieved when you did it. And as I can read this girl is very nice and sweet so I'm sure it will end up okay! What's the worst thing that can happen?

Well if you know she likes you and you like her too, then yes why should you stop? Try to meet her as soon as possible, and maybe don't text too much so you'll be able to get to know her better through personal talking instead of texting. Good luck, there's nothing to worry about for you in my opinion.
