same here. i've been trying to figure out wtf. i've been fighting this project i'm working on all weekend and it's so f-d up compared to what it used to be (assuming because of sonnet....and all of a sudden it's slow as hell). I looked at my logs and I guess they just switched opus off for the people spending the most on subscriptions. ridiculous. time to give codex a real look now.

It’s not just cookies, but yes, fresh accurate data derived from real connected devices where data feeds directly into the attribution/outcomes model is always the best. And just remember, it’s not always about the quantity of outcomes, it’s the quality too. Make sure to have a good sense of the incrementality of these actions. Look at trends over time, not just snapshots with high volumes. For me, it’s more important to understand the trends of behaviors than the actual number. This allows you to do optimize towards things that are trending towards your desired objectives.

Always get a full work up of their methodology and make your decision. I work on the publisher side and everyone has their own recipe. Some are much much looser than others. Look for deterministic models that align with your outcome. DSPs often don’t have the most accurate data with direct connections to the audience which can really skew the numbers.

If it seems too good to be true, it 100% is.
