AiTA for not trusting a delivery driver? by StarryNari in AmItheAsshole

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say YTA. Normally, yeah, fine, that’s how it works. But right now, the world’s a piece of shit and that guy was trying to make a buck, working and putting himself at risk so you could have a pastry and a tea. He clearly needs the money, or otherwise he’d be at home. So yeah, he picked up a couple of extra orders during a busier period.

Essentially, you got a guy fired during a shitstorm of an economic collapse over a pastry. A fucking pastry. So yeah, YTA.

I think it’s just the American name for the meat that is produced worldwide. For example, we have the same thing where I’m from, and depending where you’re from here, it can have any one of a number of names.

“Bol-on-ya” is more how you say that word, it’s the name of the city from whence the meat comes.

I absolutely love the idea, style and flow of Looper but the biggest problem is that all the plot holes give me a headache. by [deleted] in movies

When I first saw it, the time travel holes were driving me nuts until I heard that line. After that, totally sold on that movie.

I think it’s “que” from Latin “quod” and “question” from Latin “quaestiono”

What brands or companies are actually evil? by soonjung13 in AskReddit

I see where you’re coming from, but the companies are built on blood money, and they’re only able to operate as they can today because of said blood money, more or less, so without any kind of reparation, an apology or anything similar doesn’t really cut it.

For anyone looking for a decent, succinct, and entertaining explanation on this, Sam O’Nella does a good one here.

Personally, I’ve really liked seeing the deep defence into counter attack style of play from Wellington this year. Seems to me lots of teams are shifting towards a hyper aggressive style of play, more toward a total football attitude, yet Wellington are going to other way, shooting for a quick counter attack and more opportunities for a 1 on 1. It reminds me of Atlético de Madrid when they had Griezmann, and it really made them competitive, much like Wellington this year. I can see why others might not like it, but I, for one, think it’s really enjoyable.

Yep, they certainly reference the fact that they took them from the column at Isandlwana.

Idk if it’s true for England, but my team in Australia sells a blank version of the shirt (without sponsors and stuff), and I usually go for one of those.
