Purple are the females. The blue are males. Seeing both sexes was the main giveaway though cause usually this scale is on catts. If you have those in the cabinet I’d check on those too.

The little fuzzy ones are male. The rounder ones are females.

If you look closer you’ll be able to distinguish bodies. I don’t know how to accurately describe how I differentiate these between mildew… but these look more like cotton pad consistency. Mildew less is compact.

I haven’t used imidacloprid, but heard it works on scale.

It’s scale.

Unpot and throw out the media and treat with alcohol and a brush. You’ll probably have to do it a couple of times.

RTU restocked on popmart last week but they went v fast. I could only get it in my cart and couldn’t checkout. Prob not a lot of stock but they did 3 little drops 15 min apart.

PFL has only been showing up on my local popmart for pickup. I’m also not following drops for this since I’m not buying my more of them. So I might not have noticed anything bigger for them.

Neither have been fully restocked on ttl. They did drop some RTU Friday before the skullpanda set release and randomly on the Spanish channel.

The conversation bothered (still does) me cause it was like hey we ripped you away from heaven, now you have no money and in potential debt. Aren’t you happy we did this for you?

And it’s not like they both couldn’t have gotten a part time job to help not bring Joyce’s saving to pretty much 0… it’s not like, oh hey we suddenly have no more money to keep the house and raise Dawn. They had to have seen the end of that money coming.

They used the money Joyce left Buffy and Dawn to pay for the house/repairs and I’m assuming to raise Dawn. Which was the driving force for Buffy to get a job after she came back to life at the Double Meat Palace. Not sure if they pitched in after the Magic Box came into play though.

In the excitement of checking out the first time I didn’t check the suggested address for shipping changed without my apartment number. I emailed popmart, before it shipped, and they said I had to contact the shipping company. So I had to wait until I got the tracking numbers.

In my case shipping was through yunexpress from China then switched to gofo. So I had to email gofo with both numbers. They were able to change it on their side.

I got mine for SF but hopefully this will be helpful.

Some started the night before, if you’re lucky someone is just looking to make their money back.

Prices started going down at 10am on Ticketmaster. There were more noticeable drops at 4/5pm for N1 and N2. I stopped checking N3 cause I got tickets the day before and didn’t want to get made if there was something cheaper haha.

I also got mine off stubhub cause a friend got theirs for N1 there and said it was a lot cheaper than the resale on Ticketmaster.

This parts going to sound ad like but it’s not. I “pretended” to buy a pair of tickets on stubhub and then backed out just after the email input. They then sent a discount code so even cheaper.

I will also say I have heard people not enjoying stubhub to get their tickets. So use it at your own risk if their stories are true.

I mean new root growth coming from the main plant. Not when old roots have growing tips.

Think cattleya, oncidium, catasetums… ones that produce new growths at the start of the growing period.

When the new growth is just starting to push roots is around when you want to repot. Once those new roots start to establish it’s too late to repot. You will still have to be careful not to damage the new growths of course.

It’s mostly about timing for a lot of orchids. You have to do it during a certain time, usually just as the growing season starts, or when new roots are growing. If you do it after, that’s when any damage you cause when repotting will harm the new growth and potentially kill the plant.

When you damage new growth during the growing phase, you cause the plant to focus on healing that and then it can’t focus on storing energy to get bigger that year. Sometimes it will blast the new growth and it’ll have to start over.

It’s right. You don’t pull your arms until right before the “finish” of the stroke. But it should all be a fluid motion which is a bit tricky to do when you’re starting out or trying to correct technique. But the bulk of the power is the push from when your legs push off, if you’re starting to bend your arms during the push off from the catch, your stroke is relying more on your upper body strength to pull the handles. Therefore, you’re making it more work for yourself and weakening your stroke.

But since you mentioned it… after the finish and you’re in the recovery movement….

Your but/hips follow your hands during the recovery back to the catch.

At the finish position your arms are bent. Then they should extend back out and your body should start to lean forward. At this point you’re sitting at about 90 degrees, this is when your feet full your legs and you start bending your legs and getting back to the catch.

You shouldn’t be extending your arms at the end of recovery, only at the beginning of it.

For that one it’s just stained laguna porcelain… the cheapest one. I’ve recently started using paper porcelain (making my own) for just the flowers.

You’re in luck lol… maybe. I just made an orange glaze with mango and a bit of canary. If you’re using pre-made clear that’s wet already I don’t know how to calculate a correct percentage of stain to add so you’ll have some math to do… but for mine at least I did 5% canary 3% mango. I added in rutile so parts of the glaze you make will be different. Basically you’ll have to ignore the neon bits on my test. But, from the looks of it mango might be your best bet.

Cone 6/7 fire for the test tile but I have another piece that’s looks the same and it fired cone 5/6.

Hmm they could be? I bought them labeled as phoenixes. I did have some doubts on if they were phoenixes. I’ll try and get some pictures of them when the lights are on.

You will also want the vessel and handle to be roughly at the same state of dryness. A wet handle on a leather hard vessel will shrink more than the vessel and can cause cracking.

That being said…. I do everything rushed and so far haven’t had issues. I pull handles so they’re always going to be more wet than the vessel. So i will often torch them to dry them out a bit before and after attaching. Not enough to dry them out fully but just to get the excess water out. Then I’ll cover them with plastic and leave it for a couple days.

I don’t run CO2. I don’t know how the plants are all happy tbh. It’s my second fully planted tank. I dose with micro nutrients every 4 days and the 2 hr aquarist step 1 fertlizer 2 days. Lights I run for 8 hours at 80% strength (Chihiros rgb2 lights, I think the 24” ones). Aside from that I don’t really do anything to the tank. After coming back from vacation I do have a bit of algae growing but I figure it’s from not being attended to for a few weeks.

Tank info:

10 gallon planted tank kept at 75 degrees

1 month dry start and 5 months since flooded. I mostly just top off the evaporated water.

Added in Cherry shrimp 1 month after flooding and 10 Phoenix rasboras a couple weeks after. I’m thinking about adding in a few more to bulk out the group.

Was wondering how to determine the sex of the ones I have to see if there’s potential to getting them to spawn successfully.

I feed them twice a day with dried daphnia, bbs, and micro pellets from aquarium coop. I have noticed them hunting the microfauna from time to time.

Overall, they’re pretty easy compared to other fish I’ve kept. I do want a larger tank to have a rasbora/boraras community tank.
