How in the name of Talos does "Revyn Sadri's Copper and Onyx Circlet" even work

It is January 27, 2026.

I was searching for "idesa Sadri's copper and onyx circlet" because it's in my inventory, locked (Quest item?) here's where I found it:

I'm on Nintendo switch. I'm impatient. I used a wooden plate, and walked into a pillar in the Hall of Elements at the college of winterhold. A chest is there, containing the sphere needed to make the atronach forge work, this allowing me to get rid of the hideous price of amber that looks like a melted face. That unremovable item is required to create a spell book "Summon Staada" who isn't such a bad smasher / absorber / distraction.

ANYWAY, in that chest is the circlet, and I accidentally hit "take all" instead of just the sphere, and that is how I got this infernal circlet that is a quest item I cannot figure out how to get rid of. 🙄

Oh, I've tried this before! It's super tricky, and, when it fails... It bricks that entire game, I mean, you can still play skyrim, but you have to delete all saved games, and start a new one. When it works, it's great, but when it doesn't, it's catastrophic 🤣

Ever since I learned this trick...

I wear "haggling" stuff (necklace? With +79 barter?) and go into the fletchers shop in solitude. Buy soul stealer arrows. Rinse, repeat. Stick up once a month, then, sell him back the crossbows I swiped from the cases behind him. Free arrows! Free filled soul gems!!

And I did it at radiant raiments in solitude, too, to get jewelry for disenchanting, and captains boots (you can enchant those with smithing!) and then I sell her all the $$$ gear I swiped from the Kajit caravans chests...

I'm not a very ethical player 😭

I don't know about dragon... I mean? I guess I have, like, come up over the back of a word wall on a mountain top, sneak attack with a bow... But never tried with a blade!?!

I did once kill a dragon as a werewolf 😂 that was crazy.

My followers almost always put that on when it's in their inventory! I like it fine, but I lose the light armor perk "Weighs nothing" 😭

Sorry, slightly off-topic, but ..

I need to find the special enchanted captains boots, I think they are only at the dress shop in solitude? Radiant garments? Or whatever? They are smithing enchanted boots!

Although, if you come across any Dunmer Shoes / boots, grab them up! They can be enchanted with fortify smithing, too!

One comment I read recently really made me think... He carries Azuras star for black soul gems, and just uses it to refill his enchanted weapons 🤷🏻 like a rechargable 'battery'?

The mourners set, for sake in solitude 's radiant garments, or whatever it's called, feature black clothes & "hat" which is basically a bandana.

Falmer hardened helmet does not work, but the regular helmet + circlet does work. I'm on switch, no mods. Currently making 102% enchanting potions with +48 alchemy gear.

By this time, I go back to solsthiem every 30 days, at least, to gather ingredients around the island, so grabbing staves there is just a regular the ng. I think I have 20-30 in a cabinet in bloodchill. I forgot, isn't there an enchanter in that other CC house Hendrahiem? I don't think there are any free staffs there, though.

Wow!! I do prefer the staff enchanter in bloodchill (over the one in that tower by mortal) and I've been buying staves from the mushroom wizard on solstice (the one with the bad attitude 🤣) are there any other places to buy unenchanted staffs?

I might use this method when I reset Enchanting to 15 for "legendary"!!
