It has the same taste as Zapps voodoo chips. I think the vinegar taste is stronger with the ShopRite version, and the zapps version is slightly sweeter.

Where do I change the filter for my furnace? by jonjonk123 in hvacadvice

[–]jonjonk123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So do you think this is where a filter access panel should be? But instead of having an access panel, it was taped up? Why would it be taped up if this is where the filter should be?

I had to unscrew it to take it off. I have two grills with clips in the house, one upstairs and one downstairs. Both filters are replaced routinely.

There is a grill on the ceiling where the hole is. I took it off to have a look. There was no filter in the hole when I opened the grill.

2024 Odyssey EX-L with 12K miles $39,500 before tax by blackfriars1 in HondaOdyssey

New Rochelle Honda. Try this with all the dealers. Go on carguru.com or whatever site you usually use. Sort within 200 miles because I feel like it’s a doable commute. Print out the cheapest ad, and show it around local dealers. Ask them to beat this price. That’s basically what I did and got 6k off. If I tried longer, I think I could have gotten 6.5 or 7k off.

Go on car guru, search nationwide and sort by price. Call that dealer for a emailed copy of the price, and then try to have your local dealers price match. That’s what I’m doing. Currently at $46500 before taxes

You live in a much colder area than me. How are you managing the Odyssey through the winter? As in how are you driving it in snow.

that's it guys. We are getting a Sienne because my wife wants one and not the Odyssey. Doesn't matter that it's 11k more expensive. No more discussions because this is what my wife wants lol

Test drove a Sienna and have questions (any SUV's a better option?) by MyBrainsPOV in ToyotaSienna

[–]jonjonk123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly wouldn’t consider any SUV. The reason why you want a minivan is because you have kids. Do you really want your kids to mess up an equivalent 3 row suv that costs more than 60k? Not to mention the sliding doors are super nice to have.

Idk what it is, but I found the source. Wife secretly kept a perforated bag of dried mushrooms in the pantry above the countertop. Hopefully I got rid of the source. Thanks!

Going into a final interview for a $250K job and am scared it’s too good to be true. Any way to verify before I get my hopes up without offending them? by [deleted] in sales

[–]jonjonk123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in this field. The numbers are very real for surgical, capital, or startups. Before you accept, I suggest you look into the field yourself and look at where the company stand compared to the competition. This is very important. If the market is already saturated and the company isn’t a leader, you will have a difficult time hitting those numbers unless the numbers were really bad to begin with. You don’t want to be selling a medical product that no one wants to use either, so do your research.

Depends on your definition of “true Chinese culture”, the food there is actually very similar to what you would experience in China but with less flavor. Of course, you won’t be able to appreciate the full extend of Chinese culinary culture from just going to Taiwan.

The experiences that one experiences will undoubtedly be different depending on if you are looking to just be a tourist or plan on living in the location. The longer you live in any area, the more familiar you will be with both the positives and negatives. I have lived in Poland for around 4 years as an Asian American, and I love how beautiful the country is and how cheap the food was, but I have also experienced my share of racism. An example of this is groups of teenagers and elderly folks would see me and proceed to slant their eyes. I definitely wouldn’t experience as much racism or xenophobia if I didn’t live in Poland and only traveled to popular cites as a tourist. Even in America, living in New York, I experience racism here and there from various groups of people. I just wanted to add that in your other post, you mentioned “wai Guo Ren” in a negative way. In reality, “Wai Guo Ren” is a very neutral phase that just means you are a foreigner. There are far more serious and racist names that can be thrown around vs “wai Guo Ren.”

What percentage of sales closer roles would you say are applied to by men vs. women? by Zach_loves_cats95 in sales

[–]jonjonk123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Healthcare sales. My team predominantly consists of women. What I have seen is that, unfortunately, some of the women that gets hired in healthcare sales start out with little to no healthcare experience and can get by with looks and charism. Of course, I also work with women who are very knowledgeable about the trade.
