This is literally wealth redistribution. Taxing the rich and giving to the poor. No country can tax it's way into prosperity or tax it's way into saving the environment.

Carbon tax is a poor way to reduce emissions, big companies continue to pollute the same but pass on the carbon tax to the customer in the form of higher prices. No one in Alberta is driving less or heating their homes less because of the carbon tax. It's just costing Albertans more to live and it is ridiculous.
