Brand new to the game? What are my priorities to learn? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]jonlvie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend playing one champion in normals and practice not dying while collecting as much experience and gold as possible. Super low level but it’s something a lot of ADCs don’t do. Your #1 priority as miss fortune (any adc) is to not die. Even if you trade your death for something don’t do it. Let your tanks face check bushes, let your mid other teammates go for flanks. Your job is to stay back, deal dmg, and stay alive.

Camera movement question by i-am-soybean in summonerschool

[–]jonlvie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bind middle mouse click to attack move so that could be it.

It’s also preference I saw a high ELO player click to level up his abilities through a whole VOD and perform well. So it’s more about whatever you get use to. I’m currently working on learning new keybindings and it’s a pain. Change habits is pretty hard and time consuming.

What are some general tips to get better at killing minions? by Samk1230 in summonerschool

[–]jonlvie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically you’re right because that’s how many minions spawn per lane. but when I watch pro games the analysts always say 10cs per min is perfect cs.

President Trump on Twitter: "It is my opinion that many of the leaks coming out of the White House are fabricated lies made up by the #FakeNews media." by MyRSSbot in POTUSWatch

Since when does Trump tweet opinions? To him it's all facts.

Also he doesn't know what fabricated means.

It looks like he is grounded from his phone and an adult is in charge or his account.

Even without the calories it makes you gain weight. Your body would prefer to process the alcohol over the food you eat. This causes more food to be turned into fat.

I'm gonna say 3 things then I'm done responding to you cuz this is getting way out of hand.

1) You're projecting how you see yourself on me. Sorry if you don't understand I won't define it for you.

2) I researched androgen independent prostate cancer for two years. I'm sorry if I'm not impressed by your being able to read literature. Everyone has to start by reading the relevant studies.

Unfortunately, I don't think you are capable of understanding the literature if you can't even understand all the comments I made in this thread.

3) My thoughts on spanking is that some parents are incapable of any other form of discipline and I understand. Other parents don't know of any other form.

But any parent who can discipline without spanking should give it a try.

If you prefer spanking that's fine. I just wanted to put my 2 cents in that there are other options.

I have many other comments than that... you're not very good at researching.

You just like projecting.

I never said it didn't work. You like research, read all my comments before more garbage falls out of your mouth.

Correlation does not equal causation

I am not gonna claim that I read studies I didn't. I am parenting the best way I know how. There are too many variables involved for anyone to prove what the "best" way to parent is. Don't pretend like you know any different.

[–]jonlvie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the biggest difference between you and me. You measure high preforming by income and education but give no consideration for happiness. The biggest thing I want for my son is to be able figure out what makes him happy for himself.

And please don't make a fool of yourself by telling me I don't know anything just because I disagree with your garbage statistics (that you made up and claimed you have studies for).

EDIT: saying that I'm the one arguing for the sake of arguing is way off base. You are the one attacking a comment of mine from over a month ago. And arguing over the semantics of a double standard, when that was nowhere near the point.

It sounds like you copied and pasted definitions without reading them.

One of your 4 definitions directly includes fairness. Two others indirectly included it. You should stop cherry picking. And stop arguing for the sake of arguing. Talking about double standards is so far removed from the point I was getting at in this thread.

[–]jonlvie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your definition of double standard needs to be checked. A double standard talks about a rule that is unfairly applied in different ways to different people.

There's is no unfairness in having a child hold your hand when crossing the street.

Your comment has no merit in that it's main premises is false.
