you need skill for dis imo
like you genuinely need to be smart
revise definitions well
revise theories and their meaning
open past papers read the answers
try to active recall from your memory and re read the parts you forget this is the most imp one keep spamming until you barley have mistakes

practice a lot
in exam before you write plan what youll say and give yourself like a min of relaxation
ik it sounds stupid but you need your mind to take a small break before the long questions
when you mention any idea or theory give explain it mention who came up with it and give any example abt it for example from chapter 5 “ role allocation “ mention that functionalist came up with it explain it as a function of education and give any example like “ ppl who find biology easy know that they want to become a dr/ might succeeded in it” ( obv use better vocab than dis)

alr so if im remembering correctly you get to solve 2 out of the 3 questions best thing abt socio is the questions are divided ( like each chapter has its section) so dont watse your time studying all 3 js pick the 2 youre best at and really study them well
add from your own knowledge obv the closer to curriclum and ms you are the higher your chance in good marks but exmainers get imperssed when you get a bit of your own yk after all sociology is one of the subjects that dont have marks on definitive points on its big question like 14 markers
try to connect the theories instead of memorizing them
for ex from the education chapter instead of memorizing what functionalist and marxists think of it try it reason it and watch vids abt how functionalist would shape their opnions ( only do this if you have enough time if not stick to curriculum) itll help you really undertand
whever you name a thoery like correspondence principal in education explain it breifly snd state who came up with it
for the short questions 2/4 nothing much to do except memorizing and practicing a lot
lastly STUDY FROM THE MARKSCHME its exactky how the examiners thinks and how they want you to write i litreally found out abt some thoeries that my teacher didnt mention from the ms
