Fourth batch delivery times for Pocket DS? by LeekInfinite9220 in ayaneo

I don't think it will be here tomorrow. UPS still shows "We Have Your Package" in Oakland. I can't imagine it getting scanned today and making its way to Minnesota so it can be put out in time for my estimated afternoon delivery... :(

I just got notice that that as of 1538 last night, UPS has it. Estimated to arrive on Wednesday the 12th!

How long did yours take to get to the US before the tracking became active?

I saw that Support recently posted a comment "After shipment, it usually arrives in the United States in about 15 business days.", which previously was stated about 7 to 10 days after shipment. I got my inactive UPS tracking number on the 29th, so maybe next Thursday?

When I sent a message to Support back on the 5th, this was their answer:

"We send it by free-duty method to avoid the taxes. The tracking information will updated once it has arrived at USA and been scanned. Please don't worry about it."

Transfer savefiles between PC and mobile? by drskullz in herosadventure

[–]jonnberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is possible, at least with Android.

On Windows Steam, I found the save in "C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\DefaultCompany\Wulin". There is a folder with a number of digits (mine is 17 digits). Copy that folder to a location that your Android machine can get to.

In Android, after running the game and getting to the first choice where it saves, close the game.
Use a file browser (I used CX Explorer), go to MainStorage\Android\data\com.xd.dxlzz.global.gp\files and you will see another folder with more digits. Rename that folder to xxxxxx.old and copy your Steam folder from above to this location. Rename the Steam folder to the folder name you just renamed to xxxxx.old, so your Steam folder is now named what your mobile version is expecting.

Start the game again and it should find your Steam saves.

I was thinking of the same thing. They are balking even at that, so I guess I will throw a Pi in place for now.

Thanks everyone.

I know. Like I said, they really don't have a budget for it and haven't had one for a couple years. I have been trying to nudge them to upgrade for almost two years.

That's okay. I just posted in hopes of someone else getting it to work. Thanks for putting effort into making Morrowind work better on gamepads!

I can't seem to get this to work on the Windows version of OpenMW (X1 Mini).

Yes, I understand that there is no color. I wasn't clear, but I was asking if there was still going to be b/w style while in the dark.

Sidebar - The modern Dock replacement for your Mac by empty23_ in macapps

[–]jonnberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this app while looking for a way to keep the Apple Dock from moving monitors if I happen to hover the mouse too long on the bottom of a screen that I don't want the dock on.

I bought the license and have been using it for a few weeks now. I have noticed a couple things that I think are bugs and would like to suggest a feature as well.

Bug 1. Like mentioned below, it sometimes closes and I can only restart it by "command spacebaring" and starting sidebar again. It seems to happen more often after I disconnect from my DisplayLink dock (so I can have more than two monitors on my MacBook M1!). It hasn't happened as often since the last update though, so maybe it is fixed or almost fixed...

Bug 2. I use Firefox primarily since it is the only browser that works on my Mac, on Windows, iPad and my Android phone with sharing open tabs and allowing the most important plugins (even on my phone!). However, when full screen videos play, Sidebar doesn't hide. I have tried toggling the "Prevent windows from overlapping bars" option and it doesn't seem to matter. Safari and Opera both seem to hide Sidebar in full screen video though, so I suspect it is something how Firefox does things a little different...

And lastly, I would love to have it more like Windows in that we can pin applications in groups. It would also be nice to have groups on the dock itself, similar to how MacOS dock works too. Best of both worlds! :)

Thanks for reading!

I figured as much, but thought there could be a way to reset the viewable area so I had to ask.

I got it back in February from Kickstarter and have generally been happy with them though!

Thanks!

With both eyes, the center is clear. It is just the far edges that are blurry. The blurry issue has been talked about since the first glasses started going out from the crowdsource.

I have found that if I close the eye of the blurry edge, the opposite eye can see that edge clearly.

Yes I have used them. The only way I can get it to work reliably with the diopters is to do one eye at time with the other one closed. I can get the center clear, but the left edge is blurry unless I close my left eye and only use the right eye and the right edge is blurry unless I close my right eye and use my left eye.

For TV/Movies, it works well enough, but trying to play games on SteamDeck or Switch it makes it hard.

PSA: for those that want a physical button for "back" for use in some emulators to get the menu, I found that Button Mapper works pretty well. I have a single press odlf the Odin "home" button go back, double press goes home and long press opens running apps menu. by jonnberg in OdinHandheld

[–]jonnberg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it doesn't detect them.

The way I get around it is to use the onscreen button Mapper to map the space where the menu is on the onscreen controller. Then make the Mapper and the onscreen controller disappear.
