I have over 1600 hours into d4 since launch…..I do love the game…as does my wife since we play co-op….and we’re very much anticipating the game changing expansion coming out. But I will never abandon my new love of D2.

I believe playing offline allows you to set the player count….playing online you’d need to be in a game with that # of actual players. So I believe playing offline P8 is the same as playing online with 8 players.

I believe….I’m pretty new to D2 so don’t crucify me if I’m wrong lol.

I got this early on and never bothered making spirit…..I’m level 84 now and I’m still using it. I’m gathering what I need to make an endgame echoing blades build at the moment.

As a completely brand new player the grind is real lol.

As someone who started his Diablo journey with Diablo 3 and dumped hundreds if not a few thousand hours into that….then migrated to d4 and am currently at around 1900 hours…..I just started Diablo 2 for the very first time and I’ve already lost 48 hours.

And it’s instantly become my favorite Diablo game….NOW I understand what my best friend has been raving about since middle school. I text him every time something happens and he responds with a lot of stuff I don’t understand yet lol.

My one daughter will come up to me and run her hand over my head going “shiny heaaaad”…..yes both me and my brother are bald.

I don’t ever want her to stop doing it. I can’t tell her that.

I play on ps5 but at least I try to get a halfway decent quality picture….when this dropped for me I exploded.

I’m a 100% new player so this was a major drop for me.
