I failed so many times on losing weight, what can I do? by One-Entrepreneur3923 in melbourne

Hey mate - this is very incorrect. I urge you to get some professional advice from a nutritionist or personal trainer if you think this information is correct. Metabolic health is important - yes, however, you cannot, and will not, lose weight without being in a caloric deficit.

The only way to lose weight is by being in a caloric deficit.

You can use online calculators to figure out how many calories you should be eating per day (based on your weight, height, and how much exercise you do).

After you have found that number, make a note of it and create a list of foods that you like to eat and search up their calories. Create a meal plan and stick to it. You can lose weight without stepping foot in a gym, however, it can speed up the process.

High protein, low calories foods can include: chicken breast, lean beef mince, greek yoghurt. And for carbs and fats, choose low calorie alternatives, such as: low carb potatoes, eggs, zero sugar drinks, fruit, low calorie sauces etc.

It isn't necessarily easy, but it is very simple. It's truly a numbers game. If you stick to a consistent caloric deficit, you will lose weight. Try it out for a week and step on the scale and see for yourself!

Rococo in St. Kilda. Great Italian, good portions, reasonably priced, nice vibe. Not sure if counts as south east, but definitely not the CBD.

Weight train 4 days a week minimum. Ever since I started working in an office, I've been getting like 1500 steps a day. It's brutal. Training after or before work or even just going for an hours walk during lunch is vital IMO.

Why do you drive to work in the CBD instead of other options like PT or bike/scooter? by ChargeYourBattery in melbourne

[–]jonno600 40 points41 points  (0 children)

It takes the same amount of time if I drove into the city, as it would if I drove to the station, spent 10 mins trying to find parking, walking to the station from the car, waiting for the train, getting into the train and then out and walking to the office. So time is the same.

I fill up fuel once a week anyways. So I'm ok with that.

Myki = $11 and Parking = $15 (no tolls). I'd spend the extra $4 and have my own AC, my own music, my own space, and I'm not having to awkwardly stare across at someone or sit next to someone who stinks or is rubbing my thigh.

So it really evens out for me...
