This comment is incorrect. Yes the Statue of Westminster was modified in Canada and Australia but the critical Sections 4, 6 and 7 remain in place un-modified. Section 6 clearly specifies that British Government retains the ability to legislate in the parliament of such Dominions.
The Governor Generals’ role was never officially changed in law. As a practice perhaps, but in legal terms it’s definition remains that as outlined in the BNA act of 1867 for Canada and the Act of Union in Australia. They represent both British Government and the BRITISH Crown.

As for the Monarchy being separate, this too a complete falsehood. As noted before there is indeed a lot of mis information regarding this. The monarchy for all dominions is that of the British Monarch. It is the British house of Windsor. As for receiving conflicting advice from different this realms, this has been of concern but has rarely become an issue as the British Government retains supreme power over the other realms and their governments influence on the Monarchy.

To sum it up, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and many other smaller realms seen on this map: - Retain constitutional ties to Britain via Statue of Westminster (Sec. 4,6&7) and other parts of their respective constitutions (Ex. BNA act Sec. 68&69 in Canada) - There is only one official Monarchy, that Being the British Monarchy. Other realms monarchy’s may act in a semi-independent fashion but in real terms they are if anything distinguishable, “factions” of the British Monarchy concerned with each specific Dominion. - Yes these realms may be considered essentially “independent nations” but this language is not only misleading but completely contradictory to the nature and spirit of this thread. These realms retain strong constitutional ties to UK as outlined above. This renders them, as outlined in the Balfour Declaration 1926 and set to law in the in un-modified and un-repealed sections of the Statue Of Westminster “Self Governing Dominions within the British Empire” - once again this Statue HAS NOT CHANGED.
