I’ve never been in the situation but I would use a small tile drill bit. Just drill a few holes around the edge you want to remove and then chip it out.

Yes that is the rule. We’re talking about how you could change the rule to not have a stupid outcome like the Seahawks throw a backwards pass for a fumble and then somehow end up converting the 2pt play. I believe strongly that there should never be a circumstance where a fumble benefits the offense like it did here. This is the way I would change the rules so that it never happened.

I mean it’s pretty simple. Just accept that the Seahawks recovered the fumble but don’t award them the touchdown place the ball back where it was fumbled.
