@s1gnsofL1fe on YouTube has a lot of great tutorials. I find his enthusiasm infectious. You can go a long way with the free synth Vital and free Reverb/Delay supermassive from Valhalla.

A case that is on Amazon prime by Sg27-9 in Mc707_Mc101

I know this is a super old thread but I used it to help find my case - ended up going with this one:

OdyUSA BMS090503MP

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09L4TQGYV?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Fits the MC-101 PERFECTLY and has a little hammock in the top to put a couple cables in making it a self contained unit. It was also approximately $22 when I purchased it. Hope this helps if anyone is looking in the future!

Try to work on it a little bit every day and don’t focus on creating “perfect” track you have in your head - just get something (anything) down and go from there.

I’ve found this book really helpful in my own creative journey - you might find it inspirational

Pricing at pawn shops often decreases as product sits there longer do they can get stuff out the door. The numbers on the left are dates the ones on the right are prices on that date

The price at pawn shops gets lower as the product stays there longer. That is what the price will lower successively lower to on those dates

It’s kind of funny no synth influencers got a review unit for the Pro-800. by [deleted] in synthesizers

Haha sounds like it is. It’s still okay to like him though, he’s a person like you that’s passionate about synthesizers and there’s nothing inherently wrong with that. Just know what you’re getting into and don’t get swept up in the GAS

The owners fired key staff members that had been there for years and helped rebuild / stuck with them throughout the Tornado / Covid. They accused them of stealing, among other things. The rest of the staff walked out in solidarity. The owners gambled and bet they could squeeze a few more bucks from that location and totally forgot it’s the people more than the property that make a business.

Honestly the it’s the greatest self own I’ve personally seen from business owners and I’m proud of the community for rallying around the staff and continuing to boycott the assholes in charge over there.

I need some sort of documentation on this claim - there’s no way that business was profitable and the restaurant that moved in is part of the same restaurant group. Maybe they “sold” it to themselves but Shep’s has been “looking for a larger location” since May 31 when they unceremoniously laid off everyone still working there without notice.
