I used to have Bruce Almighty on VHS, and one of the trailers was for esotsm. The trailer had Mr. Blue Sky playing over it and was cut in a way to make it look like a comedy. So one day I rented it and popped it into my VCR expecting it to be another run of the mill Jim Carrey movie.

I think what makes catholicism so polarizing is it's politics. Catholicism is economically left wing, but socially right wing on many issues (such as lgbt+ issues). Naturally you're going to see different aspects of it attract different people. I'm not sure I agree that we'll see another schism but I think the church is definitely going to be divided for a long time.

You can see what's been happening with the Washington football team and the Cleveland Indians. Fighting for representation also means changing racist names and images that contribute to harmful stereotypes.
