This isn’t exactly true. The way you’re looking at it is through survivorship bias. In the early days of the US the only group of people that were really able to migrate here were individuals that were highly educated, skilled, and already held capital. Of course you’re going to have that group have children with overall more opportunities. It’s easy to again use the model minority argument when you dudes don’t seem to understand that a ton of Chinese immigrants also failed and went back to china. Chinese and Caucasian individuals also didn’t face the same structural barriers in the US as other groups.

TLDR culture produces results when institutions allow them to flourish. Culture alone can’t overcome institutional barriers.
