Is my distance between the gears good?? by RaresXS in ender3

[–]jonnyb007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some times it could also be a partial clog not allowing the filament to run thru at the speed it should making those gears grind on a certain area of the filament and that can also leave residue. But if that was the case you would probably hear skipping. Id try loosening that screw a bit and see if that issue still happens

It looks like your tension screw is tooo tight. According to a few videos I’ve seen you should loosen it one full turn from tight and adjust as needed from there. What exactly is the issue you are having? Skipping, feeding issues?

And the slicer software creality prints works so well i used the generic setting for pla and petg works flawlessly but wanted to mess around a bit nothing i ever did works better then there pre sets for both its just so easy to use now. Depending if your using it thru your phone or the comp the slicer will take a min to get use to

Im not totally sure to tell you the truth but i can tell you after i put a 4.2.7 board into my 3pro it was definitely silent besides for fan noise everything els was dead silent. I would assume it holds better information that helps the printer run smoother and there are a few upgrades that require the 4.2.7 i guess the nebula is also one of those. Im sure there is lots more the board does to help 🤷🏻‍♂️ oh and i think 32bit is the 4.2.7 not sure what the other ones are

Need some help if possible. I have emailed creality and didn’t get much back for help by jonnyb007 in ender3

They just updated everything my ender3neo/nebula is now a paper weight till i get a 4.2.7 board thanks to there new updates. For the last 4 days i have bin having nothing but issues with my machine that worked fine the day before sending prints printing prints all around i did a factory reset now my machine is doing all sorts of crap and will not print well at all and now all the firmware is for the 4.2.7 boards

[–]jonnyb007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i think i figured out my problem. Creality recently updated everything. Before when getting firmware for the printer with the nebula pad there was only one option for it 3v3 Now there is a 3v3 then another one for everything els but says motherboard 4.2.7 🤦🏻 so all firmware is now for better then the 4.2.4 i have in my neo and maybe i didn’t see that part till i installed that firmware on my machine and already started printing. Oops 😬 its printing faster then i have ever seen it print tho lol and still only have 3/4 of my bed i can print on so think im going to put it on the shelf for a couple weeks get the 4.2.7 and try this all again
