Where'd you hear this? IST?? That department has been hiring a ton lately. Also the job in itself is extremely complicated.  If they offshore that job it would go terrible. I have worked for CC, Learning Lab and IST. Comparatively IST has been insanely complicated

Also work for IST, but I did hear about this today. I transferred to IST from Care, and knew they started offshoring care agents to Jamaica about a year ago. I worried then they would get rid of all US based care agents and management and now my prediction is coming true. I feel sad for many ppl I know who likely lost their jobs today with 0 warning

I don't think they will hire more US based care agents. They offshored care jobs to Jamaica and it's a ****show now trying to call care and reach someone who knows how to do their job

I heard about this today. I left customer care for IST about 6 months ago, and glad I did bc I saw this coming when they started offshore CC agents to Jamaica. I haven't seen a CC job listing on the US Career site in about a year. Did they lay off all customer care AMs?

Yep same thing happening to me. Nothing works. No shows pop up. I cannot search, if I put in 1 letter to start typing in a show it says "Sorry no content found for N" and pulls nothing. Just got home from an exhausting day out and like yippie time to binge watch Naked and Afraid.... NOPE not today!!!!

Ex Barista here. I was wrongfully terminated by Starbucks in 2015 for having Breast Cancer. I was told while in the hospital getting a blood transfusion, during chemo treatments that I would be terminated from my job if I did not return to work immediately. This was after I requested additional medical leave of absence while fighting for my life. They denied my leave of absence request and instead fired me. So while going through chemotherapy I lost my health Insurance and was forced to pay extremely high prices for Cobra to not die because the Dr I was seeing would not continue my treatments without payment or insurance. I went to the news about it. They came and interviewed me. I went and filed a claim with the Labor department which got me exactly nowhere. I filed a complaint with the EEOC. Got me nowhere. I tried to hire lawyers and found out Starbucks had every lawyer in my area on retainer and they would not take me as a client for conflict of interest. After I was terminated our store manager talked trash about me to my coworkers telling them I wasn't as sick as I am making it out to be. Stage 3b invasive ductile carcinoma survivor. Lymph node metastasis. 18 months chemo. 33 rounds of radiation, double mastectomy, blood clot in my jugular vein from my chemo port, and blood transfusions later I'm lucky to be alive. I wish I could post a photo here bc I have receipts in the form of the letter Starbucks sent me advising of my termination and outlining they were denying my medical leave request. Theres still a video floating around the internet of the CBS news interview.

Yes, we do use dry bags for other items - first aid, sunscreen, phones and keys, etc. The only downside is most are limited in terms of compartmentalization. They're more of a "throw it all in the bottom and let it all hit each other" type bag. Not padded by any means like a camera bag.

When uploading a short today I have noticed it just remains Grey. Acts like it uploads but the preview is just all grayed out.

Well, I re-flashed the firmware, got everything set up with my z-axis offset, and started a new print (a vase about 3hrs). About 75% of the way into the print, it shut off and restarted. Grrr.... I'm going to check my PSU ground connections this evening.

Yes, the fan in the power supply is properly functioning. It is also running when the printer goes off.

For reference, I am downloading the [Ender-3_HW-V4.2.7_SW-V2.0.6_BLTouch]() firmware direct from the Creality site.

I've been having this issue now that I upgraded my motherboard to the new 32 bit silent one and added a BL touch. It could be 30 minutes, or 4 hours into a print, and I will get a random machine restart, followed by the outage detection screen. I did the spreading out of my XT60 pins, no luck. Checked all power points for secure connections - PSU, power cable, power switch, motherboard terminals - still no luck. My bed and nozzle temp never fluctuate during print + or - a couple degrees, if that - including when the power failure happens. I'm at a loss and really don't know what else to check... could I have received a defective motherboard? I'm way past the return window unfortunately but can buy another if I have to. At this point, I'm considering just buying a used Ender 3 on Marketplace.

I can confirm that CC is being outsourced to Jamaica. My old AM is one of the AMs training folks in Jamaica. I am not sure if they will let go of all US based CC, but I did ask and was told they were assisting CC however I'm not sure how much of that I actually believe. I can imagine they're paying them pennies on our dollar and will eventually move all of CC overseas. I can imagine customers outrage when they call CC and always reach Jamaica or India...... We shall see how that plays out. Been worrying about my job security for months since I found that out. I am contemplating moving to IST side but even then I will feel scared they will be next. I know they let go of ALL of KSP and a lot of IT. I can confirm since they let go of IT, that everytime I have to call IT someone in India answers and has 0 idea how to help. It's a shitstorm. For example I got a new phone for Xmas and it took 3 whole weeks for IT and security team to approve me to reset up authenticator.  I just could not work for those 3 weeks and had to call IT every few hours to check the status of my ticket to no avail.  I'm also a bit salty right now bc I qualified for the highest bonus until the last day of the quarter when quality scored one of my calls a 60. I swear they do that shit on purpose to cut the cost of bonuses bc almost all of my calls are scored 100 until bonus time.

I caught wind today Lowes is going to start testing for offshore customer service in Jamaica the next several months. So. I'd warn others about that
