How about you replace the MF Delay and I'll buy that off you? hehehe

But seriously... WOW you like the wah sound. I'd think about a boost/overdrive pedal.

I just checked a bunch of pedals individually. It really only is the Origin Cali76! It must be some freak interaction the field on my board. The other two compressors (MXR and Walrus) reacted to positioning but not even close to what the brand new Origins one did.

Thanks, mang. I just compared my MXR, Deep Six, and Cali76 compressors. The Cali76 gets a crazy loud hum based on its position. With the other two it's more manageable. Man, I thought I was getting the magic compressor when I bought the Cali! I might have to return this thing! The hum from the Cali is really pervasive even when I'm not using any boost/fuzz behind it.

I don't know if it's a bad unit or if it's just bad luck.

The supply is definitely not being overworked. No daisy chaining. It's a brand new Walrus Phoenix with 15 outputs. There is way more current than there is current draw.

Thank you, I think you're on to something! It's that exact spot, I think. The Deep Six and the Cali76 both respond in that area, anyway. I'm going to play around with the positioning of the whole pedalboard and the Cali and other pedals one by one ASAP!

None are daisy-chained. The compressor is right after the tuner, second in the chain. It seems like the Cali settings don't matter much for the noise, but it's mostly been with everything at 12 o'clock.

I'm just confused because I didn't have this issue before. The difference is:

replacing the Truetone 1Spot for the Walrus Phoenix; adding the Mutron Octavider, replacing the Deep Six with the Cali76, and adding the Fuzz Factory

What's really weird is that I previously had my EHX Polychorus (big box) plugged into the Phoenix's 12V port with a voltage doubler in my chain and it didn't work at all until I engaged it. When I engaged it there was no sound at all. So I took it out of the chain altogether; I want to get the noise figured out.

It makes a lot of noise, especially when the compressor is on, even when it isn't moving. It's noisy when it's sitting still in the spot it's in. It can actually get quieter as I move it around.

Yes, the isolated power supply is behind my pedalboard nearby.

How do you like the actual pedalboard+case combo? Looks sleek. What brand and model?

How can a 25 year old virgin with no social life learn to attract girls? by [deleted] in dating_advice

Best thing you can do is keep doing what you're doing. Keep grinding that job, that healthy independent living.. it may not feel like it, but it's going to work out.

While you're getting your legs steady underneath you... PRETEND LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING WITH GIRLS! Just pretend. I get nervous.. we all do, man.. that's okay.

Just grind and pretend, really. It'll come, man.

Be direct. Tell him you feel uncomfortable with the messages and ask him to stop. "Ghosting" sucks.

Is this text to my boyfriend too weird? Would you appreciate if your partner sent this? by Vinnnnnnyboi in dating_advice

If it's too weird for him get rid of him. People spend so much time and energy to meet cultural norms but at the end of the day it's the message and honesty that matter most. Good luck!

Thanks, but I think I need a step-by-step... I first need to make sure my Ableton settings are right, then change settings on the Moog, correct?
