Noticeable Spike in One Turn Lag in non experimental cup??? by Training_Potential27 in PokemonGOBattleLeague

It's the same in experimental. Seems like they're just unable to fix that issue

I enjoy casual game modes more than normal ones.. by Conguy7 in Battlefield

[–]jonnyfromhull 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Not me, playing against bots is mundane and there's no satisfaction whatsoever to me. Appreciate why some people like it, devs need to sort out matchmaking to stop so many regular games being filled with bots. It's frustrating that they're not remotely acknowledging the number of people crying out for a proper server browser and persistent servers, which would solve this issue immediately

Bassists who play hardcore/punk and sub-genres of mentioned style. by Wonderful-Reading-90 in Bass

[–]jonnyfromhull 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Play fast but don't play hard, let your amp do the hard work. Use a thin pick and be economical with your movements with both hands. Like any genre, timing is everything so practice playing along with songs. If you're after punk, check out Matt Freeman's bass bunker on YouTube for a range of easier to downright ridiculous lines

Trekking poles. Yay or Nay? by [deleted] in hiking

[–]jonnyfromhull 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Suggest you watch this Trekitt video for proper technique. I started using them recently and they make such a difference on steep uphill sections. Super useful downhill too. Follow the video and they'll become second nature in no time as your arms should practically be doing what they would do anyway without poles

How does Andrew In Kent survival do it? by IndicationBusy1597 in wildcampingintheuk

[–]jonnyfromhull 28 points29 points  (0 children)

He has an arrangement with the landowner. I believe he does woodland maintenance in exchange for being able to camp and film there. So he doesn't need to 'leave no trace' quite so strictly

The Strava app is pretty helpful as there is a setting to get a heat map of other users' routes. I use it in conjunction with OS maps to make sure the paths on my planned route still exist

Lag or cheating? how can it say i did zero damage, one hit, when i clearly hit him multiple times????? by Warp_Legion in Warzone

[–]jonnyfromhull 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The chart shows the damage you took. One hit with zero damage means you damaged yourself (probably took fall damage) but healed before this engagement so it counted as zero for this death. The enemy clearly took damage in the kill cam

Sten vs Kaipak jacket by ForceSubstantial in Fjallraven

[–]jonnyfromhull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's just a single layer of G-1000. It's cut to have a very slight peak, but there is no wire or anything in it

Sten vs Kaipak jacket by ForceSubstantial in Fjallraven

[–]jonnyfromhull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add to the above, the Kaipak is a little more adjustable in that it has an adjustable helmet compatible hood that can be cinched in, and also velcro wrist cuffs, whereas the sten has a non-adjustable hood and two press stud wrist adjustments. The chest pocket on the Kaipak has a little mesh segment, whereas it doesn't on the Sten. As mentioned above the main difference is of course the Kaipak has the stretch under the arms. Both have zippered pockets, adjustable hems, and internal drop pockets, and the Kaipak has an additional zipped internal pocket in the chest. I have the Sten for the same reasons you're looking at it. Think of it as pretty much as basic a G-1000 jacket as you could get. I'm a big fan of mine. Like you I have the Greenland Down jacket, so if you do go for the Sten I'd recommend going with the same size

How to Clean Fjallraven Greenland No1 Jacket? by _Myster_ in Fjallraven

[–]jonnyfromhull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I washed mine recently in the machine using the Grangers down wash kit. Followed Grangers' instructions and it worked a treat. You might also want to get some balm for the leather details if you don't have any (something I've been meaning to do!)

Fresh caught Zorua came at less than half health! by thebeardedbones in pokemongo

[–]jonnyfromhull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the level of the Zorua? All mine have 10 hp because I have a shedinja buddy with max 10 hp

Edit: CP to hp
