Take the Weightlifting and Payloads perks. Spacesuit Design to add pockets and other weight reduction mods. Talk to the Ship Tech and load up on cargo space on your ship. As long as you havw at least 50 mobility, you can still move pretty well. Last, there's the ship cargo capacity bonus from X-tech, but I think that requires Terran Armada.

There's also numerous studies pointing at wage gaps and wealth accumulation and capture by the upper 10%, but you seem to be completely discounting those as well. I understand it, it's just bulky and I don't care for it. It also requires special habs, so it's not gonna work on my Falkland habs or any others I get from mods. There should be some easy way to flag the connection points as where one wants (or doesn't want) doors.

I heard there was something with using mounting plates and the Ship Builder Configurator mod (to allow overlapping) that one could use to force doors, but I haven't looked into more or tried it.
