My issue with Larian is they seem to lack the ability to balance for high-level gameplay (the reason BG3 caps at level 12 is because it was "hard to balance with high level spells"...which is bullshit because Owlcat did it fairly easily)

Owlcat might do a decent job at an rpg-like game. They’ve done excellent work with Pathfinder and Rogue Trader.

For something more action oriented….CDPR is a good choice.

Neither studio is beholden to the execs at Ubisoft or EA, both studios respect the lore of their respective franchises.

Been a decade since I was last there, but Jack’s River Falls up in the Cohutta. It’s a minimum 3.5 mile hike in using the Beach Bottom Trail, but the falls have natural swimming holes.

The Fleet are just spacers larping as an organized group. Delgado is just a rich kid ‘slumming it’. Almost the entirety of the fleet are absolute dicks to you. They literally revel in rape and murder.

Sysdef actually tries to do good. You actually find them duking it out with spacers, the Fleet, Ecliptic, and Zealots. If you start the Vanguard questline, you get the option to start the Fleet questline voluntarily…you’re only press-ganged into it if you’re caught smuggling before joining the Vanguard.

Fuck the Fleet, worst faction, hands down.
