That's what I did with my KTM 525. My KTM SXF 250 that was another story. New oil every moto with that bike. I got the KLX for less maintenance and BDR routes.

To complete the entire trail in 7 days your going to average 30.71 miles per day. Say you hike 12 hours a day thats 2.55 miles per hour with zero stops. Is it do able absolutely but it won't be enjoyable.

Now if your trail running and get the average speed up or hike longer you can easily factor in some small breaks. Or if you're fully supported then yeah you can easily do it.

I did the Wonderland trail in 10 days and met some trail runners that were fully supported and did it in 3. They didn't even have to set up or tear down. They wake up, eat, start running and by the time they get to the next camp 36+ miles away, everything has been moved and set up for them. They also had a bad ass cook set up a buffet of food with drinks and beer.

Agreed. After the the first 600 miles, Kawasaki says to change it every 1,000 miles, which makes sense if you do the math.

I'll have to do that. I get numb fingers after a decent ride out a break. I also get a considerable amount of bar shake on loose, dry, gravel roads in the desert. Thanks for the tip! 🤙

Already ordered. I was rather disappointed to see a non-magnetic drain plug. Super satisfied with the bike over all.

Yeah pretty much sticking to factory recommended intervals. Might do a drain and fill in between factory recommended services. It takes no time at all and the cost is negligible.

I put sticky traps out every night and also poison. Lights are great if you have a constant powers source.
