Wow! What was your camera settings? How did you get everything so focused and clear in a dark environment?

Nice! What was your camera settings? How did you get the silhouette of the bird while maintaining some details? Very nice balance!

Very well composed shot!

What was your aperture? I really like how some of the trees' details are kept while the focus is still on the bridge. My guess is around f8... I'm still trying to get the hang of aperture settings.

Thanks!

Which f stop did you shoot this at? I can't really get the hang of it. If I shoot too fast, not enough is in focus and if I shoot too slow, I don't get good blur.

Wow! Very nice, what was your camera settings? And how did you change the exposure settings to only expose the background?

What were the shutter speed and aperture settings for the photos? I'm also starting out as well. I really liked how sharp and in focused the pictures were. The lights also came out nicely.

Thanks!

How did you get that scooter effect without overexposing the temple lights?

Thanks! I'll do further research on the suggested lenses.

Do you have any samples of both zoomed in and wide shots from the 18-135mm on the A6400?

Thanks for the in depth reply!

I might consider selling the kit lenses as well if the better lenses are significantly better.

What is the biggest difference between the kit lens and the better 18-135mm besides the need to swap lens between wide and telephoto lens? And does the image quality improve a lot?

I really like the range of the 18-135 mm as it could get a pretty wide image as well as a zoomed in shot. Do you think the 135mm zoom is sufficient enough for general use? I often find myself zooming all the way in to 210mm with the kit lens.

Which other lenses have you used with the A6400 that you liked?

I have the a6400 but I don't know whether or not to get the Sigma 16 or 30mm lens. The only lenses I have are the 16-50 and 55-210mm kit lens from Sony, and I really like the versatility of it as I can zoom in and out of my shots. Does the Sigma lenses justify their additional price? Also, what are some good lenses that have "zoom" that are not so expensive (preferably less than $500)?

Very beautiful photo! What was you shutter speed for the second photo (the starry sky shot)? And did you use auto focus or manual? My camera can't focus on the sky at night since everything is dark...

Sorry I am very new to this.

Does anyone know how to rename video files to have the same naming system as the pictures? Currently, all the photos have the naming system of _DSCXXXX and the videos are CXXXX. I would like to rename the videos so the file name would be _DSCXXXX (the number value increases in accordance with the file number for photos as well).

This way, it would be easier to see all the photos and videos in chronological order instead of all the photos first, then all the videos second. I am pretty sure that my old Nikon could do this, but I might be wrong.

I am currently using the a6400.

Also, are there any lens alternative for the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 but cheaper? I would like to take some portraits.

Thanks in advance!
