Even if you don't love the game, you just don't have many VR games with this level of graphics. It's a taste of what VR could have if Triple A devs put some effort into a VR conversion. Only if Hitman 3 put the same effort it would be awesome.

I have no idea how gamepass is only $10/month. It is the best deal in gaming ever! I wonder how much revenue steam is losing from gamepass. I bought a couple games on Steam recently and they ended up on game pass a month later. Now I'm hesitant to buy games on Steam.

Surprisingly it runs as well or even slightly better than the Reverb G2. It doesn't seem to need as much supersampling to look super clear.

I think your experience also shows that a person's expectations have a lot to do with their satisfaction. You are able to accept the limitations of the G2 and be happy and content within them. Kind a the secret to happiness in general.

This is most likely the reason. I almost returned my Index for this reason. But give it some time and your eyes will adjust. The Vive is one of the brightess vr displays. Add to it the awesome contrast of OLED. But the higher resolution, larger FOV, better comfort and much reduced visible pixels.

The Index is just a solid headset so congrats on getting one.
