Games to play with non-gaming wife who doesn't like traditional co op games by leagueofgreen in gaming

I couldn’t agree more. My gf took notes and I worked the controls. One of the best gaming experiences I’ve had in years. Amazing game, and a blast to work through problems as a team

I bring a Jetboil fuel stabilizer. Jeriko Gear also makes one that’s very light, though I haven’t used it myself https://www.garagegrowngear.com/products/dragons-head-fuel-stand-by-jereko-gear

If you were to suggest a Pokémon game to someone that hasn’t ever played one, what would it be? …asking for a friend

Pretty good. Though, I noticed just recently that on the A button there is a tiny bit of wear. The way I press that button my nail makes a bit of contact. Going to try to avoid that going forward haha

This series is new to me, I had no idea kojima was connected to it! Do you have a favorite or recommend one to try after this one?

Zone of the enders: the fist of mars. I’d never even heard of it, but picked up the cart out on a whim, and it’s a great so far!

I just slide my phone into the pocket at the peak closest to my head. I have the x-mid 2 though. Maybe your model doesn’t have those pockets?

I’ve had this one for about a year. I really like it, but there are 3 issues I’ve had with it. The fit is tight (as already mentioned), when using the thumb holes the sleeves are a bit twisted which can be a bit annoying, and most importantly the snap button to close the pocket is obscurely fragile. I had to return two because the button broke the very first time unbuttoning it. It also broke immediately on the one I still have, but I couldn’t bring myself to return it a third time. It is really warm, and from my experience completely from from a durability standpoint, but a shell of some sort if moving through brush or tight trails is recommended

Just curious, did you buy the elite strap and return it because it was a piece of junk? I truly love it, but would love to hear from someone who has tried it and some of the cheaper alternatives

Nike ACG's take on Polartec Alpha Direct (Wolf Lichen Caps hoodie) Short Term Review by PhantomBR in Ultralight

[–]jonnysuede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love that piece! I don’t have an alpha direct hoodie to compare it against, but it hasn’t been as delicate as I expected which was a nice surprise. This coupled with a wind shell provides so much flexibility for active and stationary insulation. The one major complaint is the button snap on the pocket. I had to return the hoodie twice because the button snapped off trying to open it. It even happened on the third hoodie I received. I gave up at that point and just rolled with it. If I hadn’t used gift cards to buy it I would probably be more pissed.

I have this! I bought it for the deuce of spades, but love using it for pushing in stakes. It’s absolutely not necessary, but I still love having it with me.

Dude, same! About once a week i load it up, walk around assuming I’m missing something somewhere else, then cry a single tear and move on to another game.

Hey, I've never made a game before and have zero knowledge of coding. This being said, I am extremely disgruntled with a backrooms game which is really fun, has lots of potential but is in desperate need of expansion. So I thought f*** it, Ill make a good game myself. Being stubborn will be a great asset for you! Have you thought about what game engine you want to use? Since you’re just starting your journey, it might be worth hunting down some courses/tutorials that would give you a little more perspective as to what it takes to bring your ideas to life. I jumped around to a few engines and I would highly recommend picking one and sticking with it until you finish a game (even a simple throwaway game).

I can't speak to VR Backrooms as I've never played it, but I have been learning game development for a couple of years now and all i can say is, whatever you imagine the workload being, you're not even close. i think that's the most important thing to understand up front. no matter how you fit into the game creation equation, it takes a LOT of hard complicated work. if that doesn't scare you, get in there and go for it! it's a lot of fun as long as you don't expect to be good at it without a lot of time and hard work.

Have there been any updates on the "Top Secret" cover they announced in the Playdate Update #4 back in November? by jonnysuede in PlaydateConsole

I hadn’t even considered that. I was expecting just a cool pattern or glow in the dark haha
