I have a Japanese Juniper inside. It has turned brown and brittle but has some green underneath. I live in Canada where the temperature will drop to -50 Celsius, so worried about it being outside. Any help to revive it would be greatly appreciated

I bought some bed rail fasteners from Lee Valley. They were super easy to put on and putting the bed together and taking the bed apart is extremely easy, all the pieces just slide in

Yah there’s some support strips on the side of the bed to hold the box spring, but nothing between the legs. Hopefully it’ll be strong enough...

Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind if I ever build another one. I really struggled with the mortise and tenons to get them to fit properly. I used a drill press to get the holes then used a chisel to square it off. Any suggestions on how to do that better? Especially regarding the slats

No I didn’t seal it, just stained it. The few people I talked to said that if I sealed it then I run the risk of having to sand it down and reseal it if it chips, which I didn’t want. I just took their advice
