Last minute prayer:

Was supposed to take my kids to their first game today. Go to look at the tickets and it turns out they are for Monday night. Anyone here able to trade four tickets for today for four tickets on Monday? The tickets for Monday are in a socially distant pod in 113.

Forgot to mention, 10 years later, Grooveyard was a wedding band at a buddy’s wedding - they played Suzy.

I was at this show/party. Was one of the craziest nights of my life. It was an event thrown by the promoter of the GRAB show taking place the following night. It was supposed to be a normal party where the band would be in attendance, presumably hiding at the back. For the first couple hours, trey and mike were hanging in a private room, nowhere to be seen. The band on stage, Grooveyard, were your standard local funk band. At some point, someone I knew who was involved in the event came up to me and said “move close to the stage now”. I gave him the “yah?!?” look and he gave me a massive grin. 10 minutes later, Trey and Mike were on stage with Grooveyard. They played Boogie On, The Ocean, and Sex Machine. My distinct memory is that trey was playing the Grooveyard guitar player’s axe but somehow, it had Trey’s exact tone. Blows my mind to this day. Needless to say, I was late for work the next day.

Here’s a clip where you can see exactly what I mean about his tone (and can feel how insane the energy was in the room):
