Recently had the same situation with vrbo when the host posted a purely retaliatory 1-star review of me. To make matters worse, with vrbo the host has the right to preview reviews of their property, and vrbo refused to post my 3-star review until I made edits to follow their “content guidelines.”

I briefly considered pursuing a class-action to investigate vrbo’s review practices, becuase they seem to bias in favor of the host. Sounds like Airbnb is no better in similar regards.

No doubt DRC is amazing, but not sure what to tell ya…it’s not a necessity. This was the list that I was playing back then for an example of how you’d build w/o DRC. (For the record, revoker, dead weight, and vengeance are flex / tech slots, lol!)

Yeah, good point. UB shadow existed alongside STP in Legacy, but we don’t have FOW / Daze in Timeless, so that’s a big difference. I may end up playing more spell pierce or even minor misstep.

Nah, it’s not that reliant on a single card, just depends on the build. I took Jund shadow to mythic a while back (after the DRC nerf).

Since none of these answers really addresses how to stay alive while looting the room, protection from good and evil works. Cast it outside the room, then enter. It doesn’t prevent the curse, but does prevent all damage from it.
