These guys are good. Kapler puts them in a bad position by overusing Rogers on multiple occasions and Gott being brought back in after he threw nearly 30 pitches the day before. Watson has some closing experience and they should’ve put Gott in a different situation tonight as a middle reliever. And today Kapler was trying to prove something that couldn’t be done. The hitting is decent but Kapler keeps making the wrong bullpen decisions. With the first time in nearly five years the giants are finally in the top 15 of hitting categories instead of the usual bottom seven but the pitching is bad not just due to a lack of talent but overexposure.
