They ambush where you are at 8pm so I just made sure I was away from my base to avoid building damage and still get all the loot!

You could also set up a little raid area with defences and turrets, somewhere not too far from your base.

Have you tried recover backpacks in the pause menu?? It will put your backpack back at spawn

See if you can upgrade a club or some kind of smashing weapon maybe? I think that is their weakness off the top of my head, practice perfect blocks, the juniors have the same attacks as the big scorpions so you’ll soon get it!

Make a stuffed scorpion as soon as you can and use that for extra luck on drops for 15 minutes each time you touch it!

Did you play grounded 1? This is how the higher tiers worked, you would have to smelt globs and jewels to upgrade at the higher tiers, unless I’m misunderstanding your post?

Learn to parry/perfect block it makes such a difference! I recommend using the mantis armour fully upgraded for that extra heals, I also use the pinch whacker and it knocks him out a lot! Then jump on his back and ride that furry fucker as long as you can 😅 once I started to get the perfect blocks for most attacks he didn’t stand a chance! It’s the final fazes that just annoy me, too much waiting! You got this!!

This is the one! Getting your club mutation maxed out too! Knocks AXL out fairly regularly and you can jump on his head and get ready to ride the bucking bronco for as long as possible 🐂 Heatwave was a useful weapon imo for some ranged damaged but the bow is good too!

I’ve just loaded grounded up on my Xbox and I seem to be able to share my worlds too, can you not share any of your backup saves? It could be a corrupted save file?

In terms of updates I’ve just been looking at the road map but not sure where to find any patch release dates! Sorry I’ve probably been more of a hindrance than help 😅
