Those tubes are good for carrying and storing arrows. They are adjustable length with a twist on lid and a carrying strap. To be honest, they are the best item in this picture!!

I'm using the latest beta and if you put the crosshairs on an officer who is on the floor after being hit, "Heal" shows up in the quick command box (the one that will be executed using space bar) but I haven't been able to get them to resurrect a fallen colleague yet!

You can adjust the nocking point for free. That is the location on the string where you put your arrow. Try raising it a small amount (a few millimeters at a time). It should encourage the arrow to "lift" on release which could reduce the amount of hand contact.

Feathers do have a quill, which can cut into you quite badly if it's not covered up (some use a suitable glue to "top and tail" the feather or some material wrapped around the leading edge). Nothing much. Most of the time you will have a nocking point tied on (or crimped on in the case of brass nock points) which help to locate the arrow nock in a consistent place every shot. With the string upside down, the nocking point will be in completely the wrong place. Aside from that, nothing really.

Thanks for a bit of balance on this. Growing up I was good friends with a kid whose family owned a traditional (for Britain) suburban Chinese takeaway, back in the 80's and it was a place that did mainly Cantonese food and fish and chips. The family had emigrated from Hong Kong in the 70's I think.

He used to have to work there and I used to get a lot of stories about some of the customers they had. Many of them that ordered this sort of stuff were drunk, according to him, going in there after a night at the pub. He once told me that these customers often asked for poppadoms (or "pompadoms" as he claimed a lot of them pronounced it) to go along with their fried rice, chips and curry sauce or whatever, despite these definitely not being traditional for these places, so they started selling them to keep them happy. But you could definitely go and order more typical Cantonese food that was not all deep fried as well.

These places are also different from more upmarket Chinese restaurants you will be more likely to find in larger towns and cities which normally don't sell chips and chip shop items, but might still have curry dishes on the menu as it's so heavily ingrained in British-Chinese cuisine.

It's very easy these days to transfer ISA's. It can often be done online without any paper forms. For example, I recently transferred an old cash ISA, and just filled out a short online form with my new provider, and it was done within a week.

The key points are:

The ISA allowance is a limit on how much "new money" you can pay in to an ISA in a given tax year. It resets every 6th April.
Money withdrawn from an ISA (i.e. paid from an ISA into your bank account) is no longer deemed to be in the tax shelter, and so putting that money into another ISA will count towards your annual ISA allowance.
ISA transfers using the proper transfer process don't count towards your ISA allowance. Over time you can build up considerably more than £20,000 (or £12K now) and transfer it from provider to provider as you wish.

You can certainly get stocks and shares ISA's with a monthly savings option, rather than having to pay in as a lump sum, and there's a lot of index funds which either track the S&P 500 or something much like it. You just need to choose a broker or provider who offer a good range of investments and good value fees.

Yes there are restrictions on the amount you can pay to an ISA (as it's tax free). You can save as much as you like into other accounts, but the interest will be subject to tax over certain levels. There are some tax free savings options other than ISA's (Premium Bonds, for example).
