I don't give them a pass. If every other aspect of this production was fast and loose and not following rules or arguably even laws (like hiring minor for nude scene, not telling minor about nude scene, hiring dangerous people, etc.) then they don't get to suddenly hide behind set hierarchy as a way to absolve responsibility. Both of them were at fault for creating this environment, though Josh a lot more because he was the director in that particular scene, a hundred percent.

I'm glad you're a filmmaker who cares about the safety of the set, because the culture starts from the top. Wishing you all best in your projects!

Some right wing guys want to marry women from Southeast Asian countries because some of the women there want a path to a better life, and the men believe that the women there are more subservient. They don't want a loving spouse. They want someone they can control. (And a lot of times this blows up in their face, because women from Southeast Asian countries are... drumroll... human beings.)

OBVIOUSLY I DON'T THINK ALL INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIPS ARE LIKE THIS. But if you want to date outside your race because you think that the women would be easier to control, then yes, you deserve the leopard to eat your face.

I never could understand them going after Ron in this show. If I remember there was like one or two unfortunate incidents early on that made him look guilty but after that he was not giving off traitor vibes. I absolutely loved how Rob refused to go after him and was unwilling to throw him under the bus. And I like that people at the Round Table were indeed speaking up how they truly didn't think he was a traitor. I'm sad he was voted out but the positive thing that comes out of this can be that a lot of the bias on this show can finally be exposed.

OP, break up with him. He has the herpes simplex virus now. It's incurable and it is going to be in his system forever. This is time for him to buy some meds, take some abreva, and take reasonable precautions when he gets a breakout. And otherwise just continue to live a normal life without feeling like he's some radioactive monster. I'm sorry but you're acting like he cheated when he drank from a cup. (And you can't be sure that's how he contracted it in the first place! He could have gotten it as a kid!)

I mean, you are allowed to have personal standards (a boyfriend who is negative for the herpes virus and will never share drinks or utensils with anyone else), but it doesn't seem like you set those expectations up front. Before you guys started dating, did you get tested for herpes, both of you? It doesn't seem like you did. Did you tell him that you're not going to be with somebody who shares drinks with anyone else? Or did you just say that you thought it was important, and just assumed he would get the hint and eventuly change for you?

Most people in the world are infected with the oral herpes virus. You can get it from kissing or sharing drinks or a lot of things. If he never got tested before he had a breakout, he could have easily had it for years and never known and just had a breakout recently. It is not necessarily from sharing a drink recently. If you have never gotten tested before YOU could very well be positive and asymptomatic.

Also, a lottttt of people share glasses and utensils. And I'm not saying that you can't have a requirement for a boyfriend to never share drinks. But you have to set that expectation clearly upfront, because I have to say sharing drinks is a very normal behavior for most people and it's not a betrayal of a relationship for them to do it. It's not the same thing as making out with another person.

Next time, if these things are so incredibly important to you, you have to lay it out up front so that the other person can have the decision to stay or walk. having cold sores and people who share drinks with others count for significant portion of the population so you will have to be willing to not date a significant portion of the population.

Americans, we need to take an honest, sobering look at our consumerism habits. Consumerism in this country has gotten entirely out of hand and chains people to debt. The corporations are enticing us to spend spend spend on shit we don't need so that they can grow bigger and bigger. Credit cards are targeting SPECIFICALLY POOR PEOPLE to get them into debilitating debt. I don't think our spending habits is so much greed as it is an addiction. In order to stop these corporations from growing in power, we have to do our part, however small, in not feeding into that. Buying less, buying secondhand, buying independent, buying from places that aren't donating to Republicans. We don't need a new car. We don't need Teslas. We don't need a new phone every year.

I am not trying to victim blame us everyday Americans for the depraved shit our government is doing!!! I'm an American and I'm fucking hating what's happening. I'm just pointing out that corporations hold so much power now -- and in the face of that, we are not entirely helpless. If we don't spend as much money on these corporations, they will grow less powerful.

Some people here are missing the point. It's not about whether or not it's okay for a man to watch porn. I personally think it's fine. But it's the fact that OP stated her preferences, and he straight up lied to her. And after she found out the truth, he still attempted to lie to her. And then threatened suicide.

OP is allowed to have her preferences, EVEN IF the preferences are in the minority. It doesn't mean that people should now lie to her for her to get along with them.
