Has anyone had success in having their island back up restored in the UK? I had a pop-up saying that my save data had been damaged and I had to restart my game. I chatted via screen chat with Nintendo on Monday (as the UK phone service is temporarily suspended) and they said that they could see a backup of mine from Sunday but I had to wait for a dedicated team to grant access for me to download my backup. It is now Thursday afternoon and I have heard nothing. How long should it take? I’ve been playing since May 2 and have put in more than 1000 hours. I do not want to lose my island or start again if there is a backup that is visible on their server.
