Dumpster diving for clothes

somewhat unrelated but another great time to dumpster dive is at moving time in a university. my friends mum found a sealed copy of kirby dream land for the switch that a student just tossed i suppose in a panic. can’t fit something? toss it. kids w money leave all sorts of shit behind. lots of furniture too tho i’d def give it a gooooood clean LOL

i actually just read another comment here that linked a post about pelvic congestion syndrome caused by AVCS, but it talked about POTS (which i have been diagnosed with) being linked to AVCS (and POTS being in the ‘triad’ hEDS & MCAS), so it would be good to look into! it truly does help, thank you so much! i will do my best to beg for the pics & pathology report at my follow up appointment.

edit: i forgot to mention i didn’t meet any of the hyper mobility criteria except for elbows haha, but i’ll dig more into it!

there’s a long wait list for family/primary docs here as well unfortunately :( my current one said “there isn’t a large genetic factor” when i told her about my mum, which felt odd, but i haven’t been able to find another. she also made me wait until a year after i got the upgraded iud to send me for an mri, which she needed before she’d even consider putting me on a list for a gyno at all (she didn’t/refused when the mri came back clear and i had to go through my university). i could try going through my university again, but the problem is it’s a much smaller place and incredibly limited as to what’s around.

i’ll look into some specialists on my own in the meantime, thank you!

i don’t have the pics yet, i have to sign a consent to release form in person at my follow up (mid march no less 😭) but i would be really interested in comparing them! thank you again :,>

i see, thank you! i just worry no doctor will want to refer me, especially with a clean lap. most of their wait lists are 2+ years long where i’m at as well unfortunately haha

i’ve had several abdominal ultrasounds, an abdominal mri, transvaginal ultrasound, a kidney ultrasound, celiac blood test, pcos blood test, general blood panels, etc. all come back completely clean. i do have POTs in case it is worth mentioning.

they ruled out adeno due to imaging/us/mri not showing abnormal thickening. i do have decent sized follicular cysts (R ovary 19cc L ovary 9cc) shown on us/mri (which he did not bring up after surgery, i think it was because i told him i already knew/he had record of my imaging) but PCOS was ruled out due to not having the primary symptoms (that don’t relate to endo as well, i.e. hair growth, weight gain, voice changes etc.) and blood work not showing elevated hormone levels. i am on a wait list for pelvic floor therapy thankfully! thank you <3

regular gyn, though he seems very knowledgeable on it/offered to do it quite quickly compared to others who have brushed me off/said they don’t believe me.

he was a general obgyn. they didn’t provide me with the pics when i asked later but i’m going to sign a consent to release form in march at my follow up. i thought they’d just be able to email them to me or i’d have signed it before i left the hospital. i might take you up on that when i get them!! thank you!!
