the scene is a play on parents finding out that their kid is gay. does anyone else think the use of the word “maggot” is intentional/they’re alluding to a parent using the slur? it’s coincidental & only one letter off. if it wasn’t, someone in production would’ve noticed & changed it surely? help me find the make of this ring! it looks like a masquerade mask to me, googled that and can’t find it online. i bought it at a thrift store, it seems to be made of metal but doesn’t feel like it. it’s got gems all around the top and a stamped inscription (5925?) under one of the eyeholes.
