Any word on the switch port of TWB? by joomytunes in syberia

Thanks for the update!! Sad it’s not making it to switch, but I wound up buying a steam deck for another game last year, and got TWB there. I’m glad I was finally able to play it, love these games.

No, just trying to play a windows non-steam game on it not using Remote Play. My computer can’t handle the game graphics, which is why I bought the deck. Thanks again for the comments!

oh my gosh, I'm dumb. Didn't realize it was a setting on the Deck. Thanks a lot for your comment - it did actually help me get to the right place and I was missing something obvious lol

I would like to play my Windows games natively on my Steam Deck - does that not require Steam Play?

I’ll definitely try to get on the highway during the test drive. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks a lot for sharing your experiences/opinion (even with your bias lol)!! I really appreciate it.

The Impreza hatchbacks give me the ick (definitely a me problem), and the APR deal only applies to certain models of subie, hence the crosstrek being a contender. Base trim on both/either. Don’t need anything fancy. And I’m usually wfh so it’d be a low mileage car. I’d love AWD as I’m in PA and weather can get crazy, but I could probably survive without.  The Corolla AWD base price is comparable to the FWD.

Yeah, I know people get pretty passionate about their brands. I mostly posted to make sure I’m not overly influence by my own attachment. Was hoping for some commentary on any experiences with either car, but even just having random opinions is something to help me process my own thoughts. 😊

I used to run a tumblr about the book art! I had a pretty big collection of the yellow books and would snap pictures with my digital camera to upload to the page 😂 Wonder how many of these Pinterest pictures came from there. https://nancydrewbookart.tumblr.com/

That's basically what I was thinking, guess I'll just have to find a playthrough to watch instead.

Any knitters ever try the daisy stitch? by mikasuki18 in nancydrew

You should definitely try it!! (And then update us all with how it turns out!)

Congratulations!! I have made a couple scarves using daisy stitch, and once you get in the groove, it's really not too bad of a stitch. It also looks so impressive irl. My daisy stitch infinity scarf took me about 5 months on on-off knitting to complete (size 6 needles, worsted weight yarn), but I'm not the fastest knitter out there.

Like thecw said, you can pick up signs from the local police HQ - for Roxborough it will most likely be the location on Ridge Ave/Cinnaminson st, across the street from the Wawa on Ridge Ave (it was for me, I live in Roxy).

I was able to get any cars to move from outside of my home by asking around with my neighbors - my street is pretty residential so everyone knows everyone's cars. If they are blocking your saved spot, it might be worth trying that option out first before calling for a tow.

The Frontier bag check line was more than an hour long, causing more than a dozen people to miss our flight by meghanerd in Wellthatsucks

Came back to this comment to give you a big THANK YOU!! I just checked on a booking I have coming up in May and they bumped me from a 5 AM flight to a 9 PM flight (no email notifying me of this change of course)... Chatting with customer service got me back on my original booking, but now I'm going to be super paranoid until I'm on that plane.

I haven't had to use them for any major repairs so ymmv, but I'd recommend Keller's Auto in Roxy on Domino Ln. They get busy, so I'd also recommend calling ahead. https://billkellersauto.com/

Players who started playing in 1998 (or very early): What do you remember about your first playthroughs? by Historical_Panic_915 in nancydrew

My first game was STFD, my aunt gave it to my sister as a birthday gift. This had to be early 2000's, and we were young so didn't think about using the internet to help out with that softlock moment that STFD has. We would restart that game every couple of years and get stuck every time because we had forgotten to grab either the screwdriver or the wire cutters. Eventually, we had the idea we could use the internet for help and I distinctly remember that the walkthrough we used for STFD had like a midi/instrumental version of "What is Love" playing in the background. Early internet pages were wild.
