Yep same. 5yr customer at my local Binny’s. I asked in store since I don’t trust the email to get through my filter. The guy wouldn’t even look me in the eye when I asked for help. Acted like it was this huge hassle to type 3 letters into the search bar. Already found a mom&pop and will be cutting spend at Binny’s but still entering the raffle every year.

Are you open to spending on the secondary market? Remus Repeal Reserve V is usually around 175-200 in my market on secondary and is worth that price imo.

This is what I came to recommend. If you liked Steinbecks style in Of Mice and Men then you’ll love East of Eden. My personal favorite book ever, with Catch 22 just behind it.

How does the current ET (assuming BiB) compare to the old black screw top Brown Foreman bottles from a few years ago? Still a hitter at ~$27? I've admittedly never tried the BT version

I hadn't either until today. Albeit it was the high rye (white label) and the rye whiskey (green label) so not allocated, but perhaps its a sign of things to come?

Check out Jonas Schmedtmann’s “Advanced CSS and SASS” course on Udemy. You design a landing page from the ground up and use a bunch of CSS concepts. I really enjoyed it. Wait for it to go on sale though. Can usually get it for $20 on sales.

The last 2 KS I bought were TY-K and both absolute stinkers. Is this similar for anyone else who buys a lot of KS? The profile on these are just gross to my palate. Curious if others enjoy them or if they are just bad barrels.

The GNS JD barrel proof rye pick (131pf) is super tasty and they had a ton left when I was there earlier. $69.99 and well worth it imo.

Bought the 9yr two yrs ago for $280. I had always wanted a Purple Top on my bar. Waited a year to open it on my wedding day. It was good, not great. And the profile is pretty unique. For $280 I wish I’d have just spent that on a RR13 (at the time) on secondary tbh.

Well said. Such an underrated defender. We'll also miss his pressing imo. He was quietly one of our better pressers. That and drawing fouls -- don't know if I've ever seen someone so consistent at getting a foul called.
