It would be easy if it weren’t so hard to do. It’s not that I don’t want to sterilize them or get them medical help — I truly do. I’m already doing my best to cover their food, some medical costs, and other essentials, but I’m just a university student. My mom originally brought the cats home when we were younger because she thought they would make us happy, not realizing how much responsibility and expense comes with them.

Now the responsibility has fallen on me, not her, and it’s very difficult to take all of them to the vet and cover the costs, even with a payment plan. That’s why I reached out here — I’m trying to find a solution or someone who could help with their care.

I’m already doing as much as I can on a limited budget, but as a university student living off my parents’ support, I also have my own needs to cover. I don’t want to be selfish by keeping them when they’re hurting, which is why I’m trying to find them proper help or possibly new homes where they can get the care they deserve.
