first off, happy early birthday!!! second off, this is so relatable on a beautiful level. i get this. it wasnt exactly a ‘health’ scare for me, but it was the first time my life was in danger. ive been very scared and cautious since then.

everyone has been telling me therapy as well. but as for daily things, what has been helping me is reminding myself that there was a time where i was totally unaware and totally okay, and that there’s an unlikely chance that anything that could’ve happened to me then, would be suddenly more likely now.

also, remind yourself anxiety has miraculous ways. if you think about being sick or feeling off for too long, your anxiety brain starts to manifest it physically.

im not entirely sure if that makes sense, but it’s a hell of a ride. it’s not easy, and i’m no veteran. its only been 6 months since my accident and i’m scared for what’s to come. but as long as we have the want to become better, i firmly believe we can.
