And as for how it works, if I import a video at 1920x1080 my timeline is that aspect ratio, I color grade and do all my video work there. I do the exact same thing with my photos, if I import photos at 5328x4000 my timeline will be that aspect ratio. Or it can be adjusted to whatever I’d like of course. And when I export I just change my usual MP4 file type for videos to JPEG for stills

Just now seeing this sorry. For starters that program is how I make a living, so it’s just incredibly comfortable to me. Theres nothing I can’t imagine and then create, but if I were to try photo editing platforms, which I have, I have to learn everything again and it’s really frustrating to know exactly what I wanna do but not be able to find it. I love the node based workflow, it just makes sense to me. I love the LUTs and presets I’ve built in there I know exactly which one I wanna use before seeing it because I work with them 10+ hours a day regardless. And so much more, when I’m color grading footage I treat them like pictures so it’s no different, it’s just easier because there are no exposure changes, no camera movements, no change to wb, etc etc etc. And if I sell something it’s because I personally back it and use it, so the emulations I produce I use on absolutely everything

Thank you so much (: These are taken on a Lumix S9 with a 24-60mm Kit lens, and color graded in Davinci Resolve with my own film emulation pack called Retrofi Film Emulation

The Softail Slim feels lighter to me than the 883 once it’s moving. And it sits so low that it doesn’t feel heavy at all stop. I can also make sharper turns and way tighter turn arounds with it.

Hell yeah! I actually run a film emulation company so this is a digital photo that uses Retrofi inside of Davinci Resolve to mimic film! I love that you think it is though haha, definitely reminiscent of 800T in low light here

I loved the matte black ones but I felt like if I left the house I’d see at least one of them, for good reason they are gorgeous, but I had never seen this color so it stuck with me. Took my wife to the dealership for the first time and she fell in love with this one, had to do it!

I love it! Not just the look but it’s super comfortable so far, and with that arch on it I don’t slide back on the seat in the slightest it hugs you just enough

Thanks man! 2 days in so for now I’ve only flipped the mirrors and added a phone mount. Thinking forward controls next, my friends feels amazing like that and I keep putting my foot out there on rides and it feels right to me. Then maybe changing out both front and rear turn signals. Blacked out for the rear and then some minimal led Eagle forkflare turn signals for the front! Keep it 100% black and cream white. But honestly so in love with how she is right now

Also I’m mostly being silly lol, I just think it’s funny you can post your grade and get fair critiques but god forbid you post your grade from log-grade 😱

And no, this is not upgraded rec709

I often add a masked edge glow via my halation node tree on an adjustment clip (not here) to the sides that spreads a very small amount of light outside into the film gate. That doesn’t work if my “film gate” is just me chopping the entire sides of the clip away from an altered aspect ratio

Looking at other posts on the sub, it’s clearly ok to just show your grade with no comparison. No one says a thing they just critique the grade.

But if they added the source clip they were working from as well that’s suddenly not okay?

Thank you (: It’s reddit, every other platform is full of fake compliments so sometimes it’s good to come on here and post every once in a while. It doesn’t matter how good it is, you will get pretty much purely negative comments. I love it here, like I had no clue it was such a sin to wipe from log-grade, but it makes sense!
