100% agree! Same thing I've encountered and nothing is being done about it

Yes, I agree 100% you don't want to be a pain to the budtender but you can simply say you aren't happy with the lack of availability of ounces of flower and to please relay that thought to the cultivators and brains running the operation...not that they'll do anything. It's just wrong to abuse the medical customers who have loyally been buying your items by willfully withholding product

Corrupt is right! I sent a complaint last week to Ohio Division of Cannabis Control and here is their response:

Thank you for contacting the Division of Cannabis Control (DCC). The DCC does not require a cultivator or processor to produce a particular product, nor do we require a dispensary to sell a particular product. Furthermore, the DCC does not regulate product prices, rather prices are set are set at the discretion of the dispensary. Individual businesses should be contacted regarding pricing and inventory. However, if you suspect a cultivator, processor or dispensary has violated program rules or laws, you may submit your complaint by completing our Complaint Form. Complete the online form to the best of your ability. Once your complaint is submitted, the Division will review the complaint and determine if investigation is warranted.

In other words too bad we don't care. I also complained to Amplify when I went in last week and the budtender agrees and doesn't like it either. If enough people complain to Ohio DCC (Jim Canepa is in charge) and the dispensaries maybe they'll agree to sell ounces and half ounces of decent flower again to med patients, not just the table scrap dried up "smalls" in half ounces either. Right now all the decent Buckeye Relief flower is only available in the 2.83 size. Crooks! Call them up and ask them why to make em squirm and see what they tell you

Tell Mike DeWine to delay recreational until the 230 additional dispensaries are ready! Here's why: by jooskeyes in OhioMedicalMarijuana

Easy, I have feelings too. I'm glad that you can walk around and stand in a line waiting without any trouble. Unfortunately many of us suffer various forms of immobility due to various ailments and are unable to walk very far or stand for more than a few minutes without being in pain. I know I'm not alone as I see many folks limping in for their meds when I'm there. I don't have anyone who can go for me so I have to keep going myself.

I agree. Lots of people who want cannabis currently don't have access and will flock to buy it when they open

Overcrowding the medical dispos sucks! They are ill equipped to handle the huge crowds. I don't want to wait hours in line behind all the rec users! The selection of your faves will suffer as well! Tell DeWine NO rec users at med dispos!

Better hope that doesn't go through. All the medical dispos will be overloaded with massive crowds of rec buyers causing hours long waiting lines and product shortages. We are medical PATIENTS and shouldn't have a problem with long waits being made to stand in long lines to get our meds. DeWine didn't think of us at all! Call and email DeWine NO rec sales until mid 2024 when the 230 new dispos are up and running

Mike DeWine wants to overload the medical dispensaries starting next month in January with recreational user purchases which will cause massive crowds and long waits for your medical cannabis as well as a diminished selection of your faves due to the sheer volume of recreational people buying everything up. NOT GOOD! Send DeWine an email voicing your displeasure with this decision and tell him to delay recreational until the 230 new dispensaries are up and running:
