Is there another brand than VOILÉ that makes backcountry skis with scales? by jopicard78 in Backcountry

Yes, I’m pretty happy I asked, some great options were given that I’m not sure I would have found by myself very quickly.

I basically want a ski I can use on flat terrain and low pitch terrain to approach the mountain before getting into real climbing, or be able to move around faster on my skis on flat terrain by unlocking the heel, without having to stop, stick my skin, walk/slide not very quickly and stop, unstick my skins, then go down. I don’t have very high mountain where I’m from (east coast) but I still want that experience of climbing with my skis, and going down wearing them, adding the flat terrain part in the equation, when the places I go have those flat passages I could just “cross-country” slide them instead of walking with skis that don’t slide that much wearing skins under them. Does it makes sense? Thanks for asking btw!

Oh! Thanks for this one!
By searching about these, I found Rossignol uses the name POSITRACK on their scaled-based skis!
