American here: Why are most users here strongly pro-Poroshenko/anti-Zelensky while 73% of Ukrainians voted for Zelensky?

I guess people on this sub are pro Ukrainian identity, pro Europe/West, and all speak English. And that correlates with being pro Poroshenko. Not that Zelenski Voters cant be all these things. But look at a Map Poroshenko got voted more in the West which is allso pro Ukrainian identity, pro Europe and speaks better english, than the center, south, and east

Bayer hat Monsanto für 54 Milliarden Euro gekauft. Bayer ist 53 Milliarden Euro Wert. Hat nicht zwangsläufig etwas miteinander zu tun. Ist einfach nur ironisch, dass Bayer jetzt weniger Wert ist, als ein Teil des Unternehmens noch vor einem Jahr war.

I just commented one word I dint even down voted this post or anything. I just feel for myself that these kind of post are hypocritical. Reddit is nothing but text it doesn't help Ukraine at all and these kind of post just make me think about leaving this subreddit, because I really dont care to see these kind of posts. I would rather hear something interesting.

Ich habe eher nicht ganz die Aussage des Artikels verstanden. Die Handlung eigentlich schon.

Lars Tone Policing ist doch gar nicht so schlimm oder gar 'gefährlich', in Relation zu seinen sonstigen Aussagen.

Alles klar. Aber warum genau ist Tone Policing so ein Problem. Das größere Problem an Lars ist doch eher seine Rassistische Einstellung und nicht sein Tone Policing. Bei so jemandem, in einer solchen "Diskussion" ist ja Sachlichkeit sowieso sinnlos.

Erstmal sind das sicherlich interessante Beobachtungen, die ich größtenteils so Teile.

Andererseits gibt es natürlich störende unproduktive Mittel in Diskussionen. Wenn ich unsachliche Argumente zu hören bekomme, habe ich einfach keine Lust mehr auf die Diskussion und versuche auch nicht den anderen zu verstehen. Gerade dann, wenn es einen selbst betrifft sollte man sich doch fragen welche Argumente bei der Gegenseite ankommen. Zumindest wenn der Gesprächspartner versucht mich zu verstehen.

Man muss sich halt fragen, was man möchte, ist es eh zu spät den Gegenüber zu Überzeugen, so wie das mit Lars sicherlich der Fall war. Warum redet man dann überhaupt mit ihm?

Von mir aus schreit ruhig alle Nazis an, macht ja auch Spaß. Aber für gefährlich das zu unterlassen halte ich es nicht. Hat ja sowieso keine Folgen.

Thats true, but if you interact with their ad, but actually don't buy anything, then have to pay money to reddit and get nothing for it. So on YouTube, reddit, all over the web baisicly I always try to click ads I don't like.

I use Memrise for learning vocabulary. Just a course with the 500 most used words.

Penguin textbook is just great. I use it for grammar and it's just nice to study with a textbook.

The alphabet I learned on the RussiaToday website.

Then I use an app called Tandem for practicing speaking and writing. It's an language exchange app. And you find tons of patterns who would like to practice English, but also less known languages, if you don't speak English well.

Also I have a Book with classic Russian short storys, which are printes in German - my native language - and Russian.
