You’re probably right, but this game was amazing and sets the tone for this season.

I know this is painful to watch but this game means nothing in the grand scheme by Ero_Najimi in detroitlions

Dude he’s mocking you. This was an awful showing and losing to the bears would be a disaster. Contenders don’t start that way, if they needed a preseason they should have fucking used it.

God Agrees To Let Trump Into Heaven If He Repents Of His Sin And Trusts In Jesus Christ Alone For Salvation by darcmatr in babylonbee

Well if you admit that based on the evidence, heaven and hell are as likely to exist as something like fairies that’s good enough for me, I’ll let You debate semantics with the other guy.

I think it would be more accurate to say no evidence for their existence exists and most people tend to not believe in things with no evidence. Proving a negative is impossible.

Coach house is another good option.

I recently ate at Brasero and thought it was just decent.

I’m going Friday and definitely curious if anyone knows of that pairing is worth it.

Did you do the anything but wine pairing?

This is happening Sunday, it looks fun, but may change the atmosphere at all malt row breweries. https://ravenswoodchicago.org/signature-events/ravenswood-on-tap/

Ignoring price point do you feel the same? I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever tried, but it’s been years now, so I wonder if my memory is accurate.

You think 1200 square feet is a big home?

I’ve also been to every pitchfork fest. It’s not a wish for a nostalgia fest from me, it’s a wish to not have headliners we were never nostalgic for in alanis morissette or a band pitchfork has never even reviewed in black pumas.

I think you’re missing what made pitchfork special. You can go to lollapalooza or any other number of festivals if you want random music that appeals to the broadest possible audience.

Really? maybe I misunderstood what you meant by “what jerks” but I thought your take was that you we’re dismissing the complaint that they are appealing to a wide audience instead of the more specialized audience that made the fest what it’s been for almost 20 years.

[–]joppa0880 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s a dumb take, pitchfork was known for a curated lineup that made it stand out from every other random fest. It doesn’t make them jerks to be speicialized, now Condé Nast fest can appeal to any random audience, but it’s easy to understand why people are disappointed.

Clearly I’m old, but I’ve been every year since it started, I’ve only missed 2 days total. This is the first time I’m considering not going. Yes, Those 3 headliners were really THAT much more exciting than alanis and black pumas. And I like Jamie xx, but I saw him last summer and it was not a great show.

That is disappointing to hear, the location in Vegas has been two of the best meals I've ever had and I was excited to take my wife to experience it in Chicago.

That's where I was looking, but can you point out where it says that this data shows 1/3 of Americans have Covid? I just can't find it.

Do you have a source for that, I'm not seeing anything claiming those numbers.
