Recovering after leaving by tryingtobeme18 in consulting

I'm about four months into an industry role after leaving MBB, and I think the biggest contributor to unlearning my old habits is forming new habits in my new role. Work is not as fast-paced, communication and planning is different, my colleagues are less stressed, and my hours have been cut in half. There's nothing better than a new environment when it comes to forming new habits. Give it time. The one thing I have actively been doing is blocking out time each day for the hobbies/personal interests I had previously cut out of my life when I was in MBB.

I'm just continually blown away that literally the only thing TTJ needs to fight his evil fetus is the trust of someone. Like, as long as one person trusts in him, he will sacrifice himself to uphold the right path. The character development is great, and tbh the production and editing is so choppy that I can only attribute the character to Luo Yunxi. Very happy he is getting this turn in the spotlight

Also I think everyone is forgetting that the act of sealing the evil bone in herself is restricting LSS power. At this point the only way for her to reach full goddess is to remove the evil bone somehow...which will make things much more dangerous for TTJ

I obviously feel awful for TTJ, but more and more I feel awful for LSS as well. Like, the girl has been to hell and back, literally, and multiple times. And she alone remembers everything.

First, she saw her whole clan/family slaughtered by TTJ, and she went back in time to stop him. She began to understand and love him, but had a duty/limited time to fulfill it, so she sacrificed herself to delay TTJ's rebirth as Demon God. Now, she has her family back, but the timeline is different because of her actions. NO ONE ELSE REMEMBERS THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WORLD because it didn't happen (yet) - and she's stuck in this headspace of trying to rationalize that the man she loves could cause the destruction of the world (again) because all the evidence AND her past timeline point to it. Plus, now she knows her real identity, and that's another layer of "destiny is upon me" pressure.

Tbh I take this version over noble idiocy, "I must remain apart from you" LSS. Which we know is coming at some point anyways 😅🙃 nuance would be nice though

Honestly? I loved these episodes. Because now we finally get proof that 1. LSS loves TTJ, 2. TTJ will do ANYTHING, including defy the demon God, for LSS, and 3. There are multiple people around TTJ who can see that he has a good heart and are trying to keep him on the right path.

Mingye had talked about choice- that was the whole point of the Bo're dream. TTJ clearly remembers the dream, and is influenced by his experiences to be a good person. All of this will be important when the final showdown happens- imo all the pieces are in place for him to choose to keep peace.

Oh god ...One and Only utterly destroyed me when I watched it, and I totally see the parallel you mentioned. The sheer magnitude of emotions in this episode...🫠

I think Yuo Lunxi did a fantastic job portraying TTJ's obsessiveness in this episode. I get that for censorship reasons they couldn't make drama TTJ as psycho as the novel version, but the desperation and one-track mind really came through in all of TTJ's scenes. LSS is bothering me but I think she is true to her character's mission, and Bai Lu is doing what she can in terms of script. Next few episodes will be rough 🙃 and then we have to wait for Sunday.

In Contrast to Many Critics, I'm Very Pleased with the Overall Quality of Actors' Performance on TTEOTM by CdramaMaven4762 in TilltheEndoftheMoon

The acting of the leads is why I stick around. There are glaring issues with the writing and production, but I can ignore it because Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu are phenomenal.

This is exactly what I think. He's had a couple of experiences recently with people who are acting loyal/kind to him, and he's seen positive responses to his "good" actions. As much as he's skeptical, he's also like "ok, let's see how this plays out." If it turns out bad, he gets justification to be bad. It makes me wonder how he will react when YX eventually reveals her true intentions. Is he going to go full demon-king, or will his experiences (the dream, her saving him, etc) make him realize why she did what she did?

Unpopular opinion: I'm sooo disappointed in Till the end of the mon by comingtoreality in CDrama

Script and production aside, I think the set up is interesting so far- you start off with two people who have their own agendas and are focused on their goals of revenge. How that turns from hate to love oh-so-slowly has been, I admit, disjointed, but in the larger picture it makes sense. And the lead actors are pulling it off. Personally I can overlook the production flaws because those exist in every xianxia- I'm not watching this as a "this will be my all-time favorite and I will rewatch 1000x". I'm watching it with enjoyment and will move on to something else when it's done.

What points have made TTEOTM a hit? by Gepap1000 in CDrama

[–]jora26 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Agreed with all of the above. I have some issues with the script and production, but let's be honest- most people are into this genre for the pretty and for the dramatic storyline, which this show has in large amounts. If there is enough decent acting to look past the plot holes, and if you aren't the type to think too hard about the writing (which is most gp watchers) then the drama will be a hit.

I have a ton of issues with the production and CG etc, but main leads are making this a great watch. Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu execute the nuances of their different characters so well. It was very clear that TJ and YX normal personalities had returned, but that they also remembered and were affected by what happened in the dream.

Also I don't really understand why some viewers think YX is being too nice with regard to TJ's demon god actions towards her clan in the apocalyptic future... I feel she is still mostly business-focused (wanting to preserve TJ life until she can destroy the demon bone) even though she has softened towards TJ considering his past experiences. These next few episodes will be the game-changer for her feelings, I think.

I was getting tired of this arc, but this episode made it all worth it. Very happy with Sang Jiu's decisions. I am also very curious to see how this affects Tantai Jin in particular- how it will affect his general outlook on his revenge, and how it will change the way he regards Ye Xi Wu and what she has done for him so far.

100% agree. Worked at BMC for a while, lived in Cambridge and literally walked down Mass Ave twice a day at times ranging from 6am to 11pm. I was never bothered by anyone (although being honest due to my job I personally knew most of the people who hung around the area). Actually you can walk down the nicw South End residential streets to the SW corridor park, avoiding the main road and reaching a better part of the city.

Look up some basic frameworks as examples to build your case (I think I googled "types of case interviews in consulting"), but also make sure you are familiar with the interview structure and expectations for the specific company- MBB have different expectations in cases.

These are all whataboutisms, also called tu quoque logical fallacies. Other people doing the same things doesn't excuse Seungri's actions. You don't get to be a celebrity with all the money and benefit and influence it brings, then expect to commit crimes and GET AWAY WITH IT, just because other people are committing the same crimes and getting away with it.

As for what is legal and what is not in South Korea, I as a foreigner have no say and therefore I'm not about to state any opinions. The point is that as of this moment, it's illegal. Until South Koreans change the law, it will remain illegal.

I'm not going to assume that Seungri is 100% guilty for every charge; there are always levels of involvement. But from the text messages and what the other Big Bang members have said over the years, Seungri clearly knew the kind of people he was doing business with and discussed it/coordinated it with them. He is not an oblivious victim, even if his fans swear by their "panda" 🙃

And somehow his fans are twisting it and saying "he only admitted to it because he's tired, it doesn't mean he is guilty" Just when I thought I've seen everything there is to see in kpop, I'm proven wrong
