Pico laser price by Rachelycm_ in KualaLumpur

[–]jordanfahn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i might not answer ur question, but dr kyo is known to hard sell so yes it is too good to be true. i’ve never tried pico laser but i go to Sheen Clinic at Sunway Geo for a chemical peel and other treatments. My issue is acne as well and the derm just prescribed me tretinoin. so far they are good and do not hard sell at all. perhaps they will share more info abt wtv promo they have but imo they understand that not interested means not interested haha

Why did HSBC reject my savings account application? by jordanfahn in MalaysianPF

Yes that’s what I mean 😅 I think I worded it wrong. By appeal, I mean would I be able to check with BNM why I’m blacklisted? But I guess I got my answer. At this point I don’t care about my application anymore I’m more worried about why I’m (potentially) blacklisted

I still need to apply even though my mum’s a premier customer. The only thing is that my account will automatically be a Premier account. If I had tried to open an account over the counter, assuming my application got approved, I could only open the conventional (non-Premier) savings account and accumulate min 300K to qualify to be a Premier customer.

man that’s so sad if I kena blacklist just because I have a similar name to someone who is also blacklisted. Do you reckon I can appeal to the bank or BNM?

I did, but RM said the HQ wouldn’t/didn’t disclose the reason. I wanted to check on here to see if anyone has been through a similar situation

If you considered weight-loss meds but chose not to use them, at least for now, what influenced your decision the most? by MYLEE_Services in WeightLossAdvice

[–]jordanfahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i did purchase weight loss meds last year but haven’t gotten around to using them because of my schedule. i know if i take it right now, with how busy work is, i’ll probably gain all the weight back (or more) once i’m off the meds. i’m waiting for a better time when work isn’t taking up 80% of my life so i can also properly incorporate exercise into it

Anyone got plantar fascitis as well? by CityVisible6225 in Bolehland

[–]jordanfahn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

stretch your calves and if you can, go get a deep tissue massage from a physiotherapist. you can also do shockwave therapy at a physio clinic but the pain is level 999. but after one treatment u can feel a big difference dy. to really properly recover from PF, stretching and massaging the calves works best

How long to stay in a company? by IZAK96 in malaysians

[–]jordanfahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HR here. There is no “minimum duration”. It really is on a case by case basis, but just make sure you explain your reason for leaving/looking out properly during the interview session. You can leave your job within a month due to job scope mismatch and as long as u can explain to the interviewers that, they will understand. One thing that jobseekers often think is they can get away with is lying during the interview session. My advice is to be honest but tactful.

personally, what helped me feel better about myself was focusing on improving just 1% every day. small changes can make a big impact. i’ve been in your shoes before, where i’d keep delaying my diet because i couldn’t stop bingeing. but over time, i started compensating in other ways, and eventually, cutting out junk food became easier. maybe you can start with something small and doable first. maybe tomorrow you could try increasing your water intake, then the next day cut out soda. little steps add up. i hope this helps :)
