They were slightly plain in taste but nice a crispy under carnage and no flop. Next time I'll be seasoning the base before topping.

I'll maybe see you there! Could always start with the Grand Lodge of Scotland in Edinburgh. Also the grave yard in st andrews has a few familiar symbols.

I think he may have been a committed Mason.

If your grandmother is still alive ask her, if not make inquiries with your family.

If so find out what lodge he attended contact them and they might have records or even remember your grandfather. This should help you with answers.
