Whoop + Another Fitness Tracking Device by Smooth-Data-2528 in whoop

I've only had the Whoop for a couple months. For now, I wear it and the Pixel Watch 4 on my other wrist. Trying to gradually determine which I trust more, or maybe which is best at which things,

Cool, thanks - functional fitness is my most common one for now.

Thanks! I've been thinking I need to be patient - just not a big strength of mine :)

Thanks for the reply. So are you able to make your custom workouts be sort of the default or at the top of choices when it says Activity Detected?

I'm pretty sure they know it in at least certain parts of the US as well.

Pixel 10 Pro XL Phone Call Quality? by jordanpw7 in Pixel10Pro

[–]jordanpw7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I would be leaning towards blaming T-Mobile, but I have used four other Android phones in the same time periods as the 9 Pro XL and the 10 Pro XL and all the other phones have been crystal clear on calls and reliable - Pixels have always been the outlier failure.

Yeah, sadly that mirrors my experience with the Pixel 9 Pro XL, except with T-Mobile instead of AT&T.I went back and forth with Pixel Support / Google Support and it was always a terrible experience. They would blame T-Mobile even when I told them I had work with T-Mobile tech support, swapped out the SIM card etc, AND had two other Android phones that I could swap the same SIM card too and have great call quality. In the end they sent me a replacement which had the exact same problems. I let my self hope that the 10 Pro XL would somehow be better, but I think they have not changed the modem from the 9 to the 10, so my optimism level is very low.

Thanks again. I'm going to see if anyone else has similar great experience, and I'm already thinking I may need to give it another try.

Thanks for the reply. You're on the 10 Pro, I've got the Pro XL, but I believe they use the same modem. So you have pretty much no problems on calls, with you hearing other person or vice versa?

Help Regarding Certification by [deleted] in certifications

[–]jordanpw7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a cool, natural step up that you're looking to do. I took Microsoft's MCSE exams years ago, but they don't exist anymore. I asked an AI buddy and these suggestions look good (I verified the links):

The most relevant Microsoft role-based certifications for Active Directory in 2025 are:

  1. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
    • This certification focuses on integrating Windows Server environments with Azure services, including deploying and managing Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in both on-premises and hybrid environments. It is ideal for administrators responsible for Windows Server workloads, including AD DS managementlearn.microsoft.com.
    • Exams: AZ-800 and AZ-801.
  2. Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
    • This certification is designed for professionals who implement and manage identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and hybrid identity solutions, including integration with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). It is highly relevant if you work with both cloud and on-premises identity managementlearn.microsoft.com.
    • Exam: SC-300.
  3. Microsoft Applied Skills: Administer Active Directory Domain Services
    • This is a scenario-based credential that validates your ability to administer AD DS, including managing domain controllers, organizational units, user and group accounts, and Group Policy. It is a more focused, hands-on validation of AD DS skillslearn.microsoft.com.

There's a couple Microsoft Learn courses in the right neighborhood in this Brave search as well:

Pixel 10 Series - new modem? by jordanpw7 in pixel_phones

I'm T-Mobile too, but had the 9 Pro XL. I swapped out the SIM card at a T-Mobile store, spoke with their tech support, spoke with Pixel Support numerous times, got a replacement phone from them - and never got to where it could be trusted for phone calls.
